I just saw it.

Here's what I remember of it:

-things shooting and fighting
-Jack/Elizabeth kiss. (which I particularly enjoyed, knowing somewhere out there the WEEEEEEEEE shippers were getting pissed )
-Jack gets eaten
-things that don't make sense happened
-Barbarosa... Barbossa...Barbie? eats his stupid magically-appearing apple
-END

Not that it was... bad.... it was entertaining I think.... I think I'm supposed to be entertained...
The important thing is it didn't take itself seriously. Nonstop action all the way

I really enjoyed the Movie, i've seen it twice

I saw Superman Returns too and it's good. but back to POTC

The ending after the credits is so COOL! Even though it's only 5 seconds long.

SPOILER The Key dog, oh the poor dog doesn't know whats going to happen to him but he looked really happy with the big bone in his mouth


The movies was great, loved the whole island bit with Jack on the stick with the fruit, classic

I like both movies and enjoy em a lot, but POTC was a tad better in my book. That doesnt mean its a better movie, just that it's more fun to watch.

FINALLY saw it, thought it was awesome, just as good as the first despite the fact that Nate ruined the damn ending for me.

...But I'm not so sure about one thing...is Jack gonna be in the third movie or not? Cos if he's just gonna come back to life at the end or whatever, I'm gonna be pissed! I mean he is POTC! Without him the movies would just be...well, still good, but nowhere near as entertaining.

Also, I don't see what was so bad about what Elizabeth did...I expected it to be much, much worse the way you guys were acting...She didn't cheat on Will, and she didn't do something incredibly evil...she just chained Jack up so that the sea monster thing wouldn't come after them...It wasn't a good thing to do, I know, but she had reason for doing it...and people are saying that was out of character for her...as if! Since when was she a good little girl who cared about and loved everybody?

I'm glad Barbosa's back...Davy Jones' tentacles are awesome but I'd prefer to see Barbosa kill someone while eating an apple any day.

Commodore Norrington was so much better in this movie...in the first movie he was just a snob who looked like an ice-cream cone. Now he's like a pirate, except...err...not.

Best movie I've seen so far this year I think...Superman Returns comes very close, but I think this beats it.

I went and seen this awesome movie a couple nights ago and yeah, I liked it. It was pretty good for a sequel I guess but I still enjoyed Superman Returns more.
I guess I'm just a Clark Kent fangirl. lol

I went with my family to see it (who else would I go with? ) and can I just say how pissed off they were at me for making them stay after the credits. I thought, no I heard somewhere that it was supposed to connect to the third movie somehow.
That stupid 10 second scene was not even worth the 10 to 15 minute wait during the creds.
I never heard the end of it for the rest of the night. LOL

POTC was fun, but Superman was a better movie. As far as which I liked better: I don't really care which one I liked better. Though I do resent this movie for being a blockbuster-wannabe-epic, because it certainly isn't an epic though the box office disagrees. . Superman is just on a different level. This one is a fun little Disney action-comedy, but by being what it is it eliminates itself from being a good movie.
Im sure it doesn't help that I can't even remember what happened in the movie as the whole thing just rushed by. Or the numerous times where everyday impossible things like falling from a cliff onto your back left you unharmed happened. I accept that it's not supposed to be taken seriously, and I'd rather laugh at those instances, but that still is yet another point away from this movie being considered good.

I beg to differ! Elizabeth is more a pirate than Will will ever be. That was SO in character it's rediculous. She's wanted that life since she was a little girl. It might be in Will's blood, but it's in HER heart. There was Elizabeth/Jack sexual tension all throughout the first movie. Their first scene together? HELLO!

I have a better question, why the hell is the monkey still undead AND if the sea monster was after Jack, why did it continue to attack the ship when he was safely away on the lifeboat? Continuity people, it's not that hard.

Other than that, I really liked the movie. Bringing Norrington and Barbossa back was a good move. Nice familiar faces. Hope Norrington's in the third as well.
