it's the banner for my website, and they're not kittens, they're Tigers. I have a website where I make Sim Movies and Music Videos and it's called Tiger Productions, because tigers are my favorite animals.

Well I guess you could call them kittens, but mostly the young ones are called cubs. but thank you. I like yours as well..give it a 9 although I have no clue who the guy is....hehe..but he's cute

Aw, thanks. And yes, he is a cutie Martin Rolinski is his name. Singer of Bodies Without Organs, my fave band.
The only thing I'm not satisfied with on my banner is that dark area around his hair on the side with Marina... but lol, maybe you guys won't notice, hihi.

Aw, thanks, hon! Dezdemona made this one (and Erin aka ooangeliceviloo sent it to me, thanks again! *squee!* ) but I've been wanting to make these for forever myself! AND I think that Warren's been able to tell me how! *even more squee!*

I haven't tried it yet except for a small test -- which worked, yay! -- but it's all in what format your vid editing program can render into and if you have an animation program that can read it.

I'm using Sony Vegas Movie Studio, which can render into MPG, and Animation Shop, which can open MPG. BUT as I was playing around with it, I found that it worked just as well to render into AVI which Animation Shop can also open. That's good news because WMM can render into AVI! So, what I think you'd do is cut the clips that you want to be in your banner/avi in your editing program, then use the rendering options to reduce the size down. For example, in WMM you'd pick one of the low settings that says something like Video for Pocket PC, which cuts the size down to 208x160 (as opposed to being 320x240 like a vid would come out). Then you'd import that into your animation program and save it as a .GIF. Yay!

As I said, I haven't tried this yet but I wanted to share since it might give other people a chance to see if they can get it to work for themselves as well!

And, I didn't forget to rate your banner, too, meandi! A total 10! I love how there's like an entire story going on there!

Making mini-movie-banners is something I'm gonna look into... didn't sound too complicated. I'll let ya know how it works out and once again, thanks for explaining how to do it!
