Okay, so I saw in the spam and some other threads people were talking about Daniel Craig as James Bond.

I for one LOVE the guy and think he's perfect for a role like Bond, and on top of that he's an incredibly talented actor. And if you haven't seen it, I suggest everyone see Layer Cake. You'll see there how he's fit for the role.

i don't think he'll be a good james bond,he's too blonde

He's blonde and not very attractive. He looks like a boxer. It's nothing to do with his acting ability he just doesn't look like a Bond at all

I think Daniel Craig is a fantastic actor, and "Layer Cake" is in my top 100 movies for sure, but then again, so is pretty much every James Bond film. And in my opinion Daniel Craig doesn't suit the role very well. I'm also pissed off about the fact that this movie is gonna restart the Bond series from the very start, and will be more realistic. I mean, come on!

What I've decided on is that they've ruined the classic Bond series, which makes me very very angry. But they're doing a new type of Bond series, and while it'll hardly even be similar to the other ones, it could still be good. But I'd be much, much happier if they stuck to the Bond that has been around in books since the 50s, and movies since the 60s.

Which is exactly why after making my Casino Royale parody trailer for craignotbond.com, I made a vid for "Layer Cake" to prove that I don't hate Daniel Craig, I just love James Bond and therefore, I'd be stupid not to be angry about the choice of him as 007.

I don't see what makes him a bad choice other than the color of his hair. I find that pretty superficial, actually. I can understand being upset with the direction that they are taking the series, I suppose. That's more of a valid complaint. But I just don't see why people say he is a bad choice other than his hair. To me, that's just silly. I think he has a great screen presence and the acting chops to pull off the role brilliantly. And I certainly don't think he is ugly.

I have never been a fan of the series because of the type of movie they are. So for me, if they're going to take a more serious approach to the films, I'd probably be more keen to like them. (And watch them in their entirety.)

I have heard a couple of people say that these new Bond movies are supposed to be more like the books, just less like the movie series thus far. Yet you seem to be saying otherwise. I don't know, I haven't read the books, obviously.

I do think you should give the movie a chance before you say they've ruined the entire series. You haven't even seen the movie yet.

If Daniel was just doing a regular Bond movie I'd definetly give him a chance, even though I'd be kinda annoyed about the hair. The main thing that bothers me is the way they're changing it.

I've read most of the books, and yes, Bond is a scar-faced character in it, but the rest of it is exactly like the old movies.

They have ruined the series, I'm sure of that, seriously. But that doesn't mean this movie will suck.
