I'm debating whether or not to go ahead and just use my crappy footage... I guess I'll go ahead and try it, then just see how it all looks once I render it up!

Oh, though it'll be after I finish my Date vid, 'cause I don't want to stop that while it's on a roll. (Is that a dinner roll with butter? Mmmmm... ) Anyway, I'll do my best and we'll see how it turns out! I was hoping I'd have enough footage from Serenity (which I nabbed from those clips that Paul put up for Carrie ) but I'm not sure if there's enough there to work. Anyway, if I get the first trailer done, I'm going to have a look at the Serenity footage and see if I can pull something together. I SOOOOOO *heart* that show! I'm dying to get the DVD set!

Well I kinda came up with an idea for a vid for this contest so I might start it soon.

The only thing that's stopping me is that I haven't found the perfect creepy movie trailer music yet but I'm sure it's out there somewhere!

On second thought, never mind. I think I'm going to go bury all my stupid ideas in the backyard right now, lol!

I've discovered something. I suck at trailers. No really. My vidder's brain (what there is of it ) just doesn't wrap around the trailer thing very well. I've started 2 different ones then realized I was doing them "full-length vid style" (trying to match the lyrics, etc.) which ISN'T the way you do trailer, now is it?

I'll take another couple of cracks at it before the deadline, just because I like trying to "stretch" and learn a new vidding technique. But if I do come up with an entry, it's going to look like a crayon doodle sitting next to two masterpieces next to Paul and Nate's entries!
