Ok back to the vid, THAT WAS FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!
The whole animation thing rocks! You got me since the openning with superman' red cape. And jack looking out the window to see the black smoke crashing the plane? That was awesome! Now if only I could did the 3d animation thingy! The song fits Jack really well. The whole superman reference is spot on. As for the editing I have nothing to complain, it was damn near perfect.

Again Hobbit, awesome awesome job.
And I'm not kissing anybody's ass here.

Thanks for the grreat comments Nate, I value your opinion very high in this place
To tell the truth, I was very nervous about this one... I took some big risks there, especially with my amateur animation skills being a key part at the climax of the vid I'm really glad you liked it, and thanks a bundle for the kind comments!

Oh, and I changed the artist name as far as I'm willing to go (I'm not spending another 4 hours rendering on that sucker ). Funny story, I actually changed the artist name from Five for Fighting to David Gray, just becuase I saw so many results for David Gray when I searched the song in Yahoo I probably should have checked the Wikipedia pages huh?

That was an incredible video!!

It was so emotional, the song really did suit Jack. It almost had me in tears ..and it made me smile too!
I loved the whole animation thing in it, especially the black smoke outside the window.

It was just....awesome!!

Holy Friggin Crap, Warren!! I almost cried it was so beautiful! And once again, you are the master of animation, my friend. I loved the whole 'security system' thing with the wing of the plane. Wouldn't that be a hoot tho, I mean it's not a completely out of the question theory for why they crashed. OMG, I bow down, you are the master and I am your humble vidder servant!

Yeah, Nate does know his music. I've only been able to stump once, and I've given him some pretty weird lyrics to guess.

I just plain loved it! It's videos like these that make me push aside all the annoying, stoic, personality of Jack that Lost shows much too often and focus on his more vulnerable side.

*gasp* Warren finally made a new video!! About time!


I can't believe how awesome that was. The clips and transitions were very well done, first of all, which really pulled me into Jack's story, and the animation thing was really interesting...but the best part was probably the montage of clips with the cape thrashing around in the widescreen bars and transitioning. That was just plain original there.


And I like that theory imbedded in the video about how it crashed and Jack got thrown into the jungle. Awesome job.

glad you noticed that. Though I don't actualyl think that's how he landed I just wanted to do something abstract and tying-in with the cape, and that was exactly what I always saw when I heard the song so I just went for it
