Yeah l know eh. l loved the book more then the movie. l thought the movie was pretty good too mainly cuz l loved the entire cast. l kinda have a major crush on Thomas Jane. He's such a hottie...lol. Anyway the movie was very different from the book, in some spots. The entire end in the movie is completely different from the end in the book. lt never said that Duddits was an alien or not (in the book l mean) and he ended up dying from his cancer in the back of the police truck at the Quabbin Reservoir. Also in the book there was way, way more stuff about when they were kids. Like in that one chapter where they all have the same dream about that bully kid getting in a car accident (inclueding Duddits) and then them all waking up and finding out the next day that it actually happened. Or that part in the movie where Duddits gives them all their special powers or abilities or whatever, they were actually much older in the book when that happened. lf l remember correctly, it was on the same day as their highschool graduation day. One more thing, Curtis in the movie, well in the book his name is actually Kurtz. That was the one thing l noticed most of all.
