Because l loved Uruviel's "Welcome To The Jungle" vid, l thought this song would also make a very good Lost vid. "Run Through The Jungle" by CCR. Just an idea. _________________

I've been thinking of doing this one, if only because the Lost reviewer on Television Without Pity is CONSTANTLY mentioning in his reviews how Lost should use that song during all the running through the jungle shots!
I might do it but I have so many other vids on my plate right now that it might be awhile before I get to it, if I do at all. |

Anyway l've got alot more new cast interview clips and Entertainment Tonight, Extra and E Talk Daily stuff. l want to make another vid similar to my Original Prankster one. Got a couple of ideas but nothing in stone so we'll see what happens. _________________

I'd just like to note that I've been about halfway done my video for about a week and a half, becasue I'm suffering from creative block.... that, and WMM is crapping out on me again I'll resume it again as soon as I get my RAM upgrade, which should help out the WMM problem a bit... |

Me too. Except I have about 50 videos half way done and it's really annoying _________________

Hollywood,
I *love* your "Here's to the Night" and "Boom Ain't It Great to Be Crazy?" videos!
The "Here's to the Night" video is so bitter sweet and wonderful and all of the clips match up to the rhythm and mood so well! I personally don't like a lot of nifty effects, even if they are really amazing and not corny whatsoever, because I feel that it detracts from the original meaning of the video and song. I'm only saying this because I prefer this video to others with a lot of flashy stuff going on because your video tells a story and I love how you went about it.
The second video is absolutely hilarious, and I especially love the part "Oh my god, there's a horse on me!" and the starting scene with Locke having premonitions of Boone. Love love love.
Keep up the great work! |

Dang, Hobbes, are you me or something??? I'm in desperate need of a RAM upgrade (because my 256 MB actually began weeping the other day! ). And we all know my feelings on WMM (though, to be fair, I don't think you can apply the word "crap" to WMM 2. It can do titles, transitions, and control clip speed. I'm aspiring to have WMM 2!!!).
That said, I was nearly sat here and screamed the last time I worked on my Angsty Jack vid because WMM hung on me 5 times in a row, then hung to the point that I had to reboot the entire computer to shake it free! So, if anybody heard me screaming, hope it didn't scare you too badly...
And, BTW, the last time I worked on Angsty Jack is apparently going to be The Last Time. Not only don't I have enough RAM to save it as a WMV, I don't have enough to even finish it. So it's no more vids for me, at least until I do "computer surgery." Not looking forward to it. I don't exactly have good luck with things like this!
Anyway, I have a ton of ideas I want to do. I'm ready to attempt my first Skate vid, have it all planned out in my head and everything. Hope I get the opportunity to do it one day! First thing though will be getting Angsty Jack out of the awkward position he's in (I'll leave both the Jack fans and the non-Jack fans to come up with mental images on their own for THAT statement... )
Oh, and I'm fairly certain you're not me, Hobbes. Just in case you're worrying about that now...
And, you know what, I've wondered how everybody can afford these expensive programs, BTW. I've priced all the ones I've heard people talking about using on here and they run anywhere between $500 and $700! Couldn't help but wonder if there was a bit of "sharing" (ahem ) going on occasionally. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding and everybody buys their own spankin' brand new copies.
But if y'all are "Budget-Challenged" like me, then that's a huge amount to pay for a program that can't ever show any sort of return on the investment, unless you vid for a living somehow! (I'm actually having to struggle with this line of thought myself, because the only reason the computer really needs more RAM is to run WMM. So I'm having trouble justifying sinking money -- however much -- into my basically "useless" hobby.) Anyway, nobody cares and it's not my business on top of that. Just would be interested to hear other vidders' opinions -- if you have 'em and care to share -- on the subject.
Toodles!
~Aislynn
And that has to be the most cheerily obnoxious closing to a post I think I've ever done...
PS - Duh, sorry, Holly, but I keep forgetting to tell you that I did finally get your "Here's To The Nights" vid downloaded. Thank you so much for making a smaller size of it, BTW. Downloading anything takes forever on dial-up, so the smaller the better! Loved it! I'd always liked the song and you did a great job vidding to it! What program were you using, if you don't mind my asking? |
