Thank you both! I'll take somebody up on that offer if I don't hear back from my friend in a few days. She must not be picking up her email or something...

Anyway, I've actually already started the preliminary work on the vid, gathering some new pics and the like, so not having the song on the computer won't be a problem for a little while, since I'll be building the opener in Paintshop and Animation Shop. It'll be a few days before I could put it together with the song in WMM anyway.

But I really appreciate you guys jumping in right away to help me like that! You two are sooo sweet!

I never name the song I'm planning on using until I've actually made the vid. 'Cause that tends to jinx me for some reason and then I end up not doing the vid at all!

Of course, I also have a bad habit of changing songs even after I've started the vid. My Angsty Jack vid actually had a completely different intro and a couple of seconds vidded to a total different song before I changed concepts and plugged in "Cry Me A River" in its place. Some of that footage made it into the final vid but the intro was scrapped.

The original version was by the Smiths. I like that version better but the cover is a lot shorter so I won't have to cut the audio down to size myself.
