I know I posted in this thread before (like way back on the first or second page) but some of my ideas have changed and really, I needed a place to type out my vid ideas so I don't forget them!

"Weapon" by Matthew Good -- Requested by Laura FOREVER ago! I've finally decided the direction this vid is going to take, it's going to chronicle the whole Claire's abduction/Charlie killing Ethan arc.

"Passive" by A Perfect Circle -- Angsty Jack vid about him dealing with his daddy issues and his inability to let go.

"Wise Up" by Aimee Mann -- Still haven't quite decided what direction to take with this song. I could do a Charlie vid (but I've already done a Charlie/drugs vid and I hate to be redundant), I could do an ensemble vid, or I could possibly even do a Sun/Jin vid. I'd love to get some opinions on this one from people who know the song.

"Under the Milky Way" by The Church -- I love the haunting tone of this song. The lyrics are fairly simplistic and repetitive, which means I'll have to branch into the abstract more than the literal (which is something I REALLY need to work on, I'm FAR too literal in my vids). The tone of the song really fits Lost, as do the lyrics. It has a really obnoxious bagpipe bridge however, which I will most certainly edit out if I make it into a vid! Still haven't decided on whether I want to make it an everyone vid, or possibly a Jate vid. I'd love opinions on this one as well.

"United States of Whatever" by Liam Lynch -- This will be a Walt-centric humor vid. Not sure why, just every time I hear this song I think of Walt.

"Twilight Zone" by Golden Earring -- FINALLY I have found the PERFECT Sawyer song! Every single part of this song, both the lyrics and the music just SCREAM Sawyer. I'm thinking of possibly making it a Sawyer/Sayid vid (not neccesarily slashy, just focusing on the two of them) as Sayid fits in a few parts too, but I'll likely make it just Sawyer.

"Weak and Powerless" by A Perfect Circle -- Haven't decided if I'm going to do this one or not (as I'm also wanting to make this into a Spike vid) but I'm feeling the need to make a dark Charlie/Claire vid to contrast with all the fluffy happy vids of that pairing (no offense to the vidders producing the fluff, it's just not my cup of tea).

"The Beginning" by The Waking Eyes -- Not sure if I can make this work, I really like the music but the lyrics don't make too much sense. I keep seeing events of the finale playing out every time I hear this song so I might need to do it. I have a sinking feeling that if I do it will end up being a dreaded "montage" and have no real point aside from looking cool.

If anyone has any good fast paced instrumental songs they aren't using I'd love some suggestions. I really want to do a season summary vid but I'll pretty much have to find a strictly instrumental song for it.

So yeah, those are my vid ideas, some I've already started (like "Passive", which I've been working on for months!) and others are barely into the outlining phase, but I'm determined to finish at least the majority of them! And typing it out here makes me obligated to follow through!

Great song for Charlie, but don't watch the pro music video for it or you probably won't think as highly of it

l was thinkin about makin a Charlie vid soon to the song "Champane Supernova" by either Oasis or Matt Pond PA. l love both versions of this song and l think it could be good.
