[spoiler:c788a2fd6a]Are you sure he didn't say "Take care of his son" in response to Dee's "Take care of the old man." Meaning, take care of Lee. [/spoiler:c788a2fd6a]
Man, I'm gonna have to watch that clip over again. _________________

Holly! *glomp*
[spoiler:4d9a089f04]I'm just assuming it was a shortened reference to "the old man's son," with the "our" as just an affectionate sort of thing.
That is, unless next week we meet Deelo, Dee and Helo's previously unknown son...

I'm okay with that, personally. Like I've always said, if you don't want to read spoilers about a certain ep or a show or a movie, then don't read a thread that is clearly marked that that's what it's about.
I can understand if the thread is about something else, or if you're going to mention something that's going to be in an upcoming ep, then it would be rude to just blurt it out where people who don't want to be spoiled will read it with no idea that it's coming. But when we're talking BSG stuff that has already aired in a BSG thread, that should be obvious we're talking about BSG...
Although, I do kinda enjoy the whole "push the button to read something!" element of these new spoiler tags... |

Yeah I'm getting kinda sick of using those spoiler tags. lol. I only started using them cause I didn't wanna spoil MG or someone else who might wander in here who's not caught up in the show yet. I think from now on I'll just keep actual spoilers for upcoming eppy's for the spoiler tags if thats ok.

Aislynn! *glomps back*
LOL @Deelo. I guess that kind've makes sense (about the shortened "our son" reference meant to be affectionate but I still think it was kind've an odd thing to say).
"His son" would've sounded better.
Pauly, I seriously hope they don't make Baltar a cylon. I personally don't think he's one. To me he's just really a sad, pathetic excuse for a human being but I totally understand how people think he could be a cylon. The way he acts and everything and why the cylons kept him alive this long but I still don't think he's one of them. To me it would just be disappointing even though I don't like him. lol.
So yeah, I hope they don't write him in as one. One Baltar is enough IMO. _________________

Okay Im sorry if NO ONE wants to hear speculation based upon the preview/commercials, stop reading NOW

If Gaeta (as he should) is going to kill Baltar, and well all know then if hes a Cylon, because either he'll be dead or "reborn".
Anyone else kind of digging Roslyn and Zarek now? Interesting triangle, me thinks.
And any Jamie Bamber fan (I was a HUGE fangirl right after Horatio Hornblower came out) who wants to see his butt should rent "The Scarlet Pimpernel" with Richard E. Grant. Hes actually the reason I STARTED to watch the show, now the show just rocks, with or w/out Jamie...
And sorry, I cant stand Dee. She was ok until Season 2. |

I personally never "got" the whole Lee/Dee thing anyway. I mean, it came out of nowhere, IMO. There was very little to NO set-up for it. It was just more like a "let's pull this out of our writing hat because we have to throw something more in the way of Lee/Kara" or some weird thing like that.
This is now what I consider to be the official smiley of Lee/Dee

Again Ais, Im with you. Billy was sort of an unecessary casualty, really. I mean Dee didnt even wait until his body was cold before she was (pardon the French) boning Lee. I agree- they didnt and dont have any chemistry, and like Jate- Kara put herself out there several times, he kept circling the bait but never took it. So Im pro-Anders...
And again, Im sure one day theyll tell us what the big falling out between Kara and Lee was...
By the way, even though Im very suspicious of "Casey" she really is a tiny version of Starbuck! Have to admit shes beautiful...I felt so bad for Starbuck though, how she feels about motherhood, didnt know the child existed, and then just thrusted upon her after she is kidnapped.... _________________

I'm not one of those gals who goes ga-ga over kids but I totally agree with you on that: that is one cutie-pie child! And she looks a LOT like Starbuck, doesn't she? Great casting, there!
I'm still looking forward to whatever creative way Starbuck finally comes up with to kill Leoben "all the way" dead! I hope she really takes him on and turns his whole mind-game around on him! I really can't see that they'll send her into a legitimate Stockholm syndrome thing. *cue Muse song* I think she'll try to make him think, "Oh, now we have this child together and she's a part of us and look, you're right, I DO love you and we're so meant to be 2-gether 4-EVA!" Then she'll kill him deader than dead and escape with the kid.
To do anything less would be out of character, IMO. (And all that is what I meant when I called them a crackship earlier. Not that I want her to actually fall in love with this guy who's kidnapped her, hijacked her DNA and is attempting to brainwash her. Just so I'm clear on that! I'm just looking forward to seeing how this is going to play out and how Starbuck's going to find a clever way out of this mess! ) |

Im the same way with kids, to quote George Carlin "and theyre not all CUTE, okay? Some of them are downright unpleasant looking!" and definitley GREAT casting!
I think youre spot on with Starbuck, shes way too strong to Stockholm it out with that guy...definitley going to kill him and escape with the kid (hopefully). _________________

Watch how hard she knocked him down. lol.
I'm still for Adama/Roslin but I have to say that I did enjoy that little flirty scene of them on the ground in the last ep.
I didn't really like Tom when he first came on the show back in season 1 but now he's sort've grown on me. We definitely need to see more of him. _________________

I LOVE that! I agree, I'm still way more Adama/Roslin but that was a really great scene with Zarek! I especially loved that here they know that something way bad is going to happen and he asked her if she had planned on stealing the election! That just seemed so real, for a lack of a better thing to call it. It's like "okay, so we're gonna die here but I've GOTTA KNOW..."
And I keep forgetting to tell you, Holly, how much I love that Roslin/Lee avi! That look on his face! |
