Those are mostly just programs. The stuff that was on my desktop before was just random downloads like videos anc pictures, so I just deleted it all. But all my essential programs are right there at my toolbar within easy clicking distance 
And I'm sure E's going to tell me just how much that slows down my computer now |

Okay, here's a shot of the wallpaper I'm currently using. If you don't know why a small Ringwraith is standing on a table holding a banner that says "Fluffy *hearts* Aislynn," well... Consider yourself lucky!
I think my favorite part of the pic (besides Sawyer obviously ) is the guy in the background, blithely setting the table.

I know why! Did I tell you I got about halfway through that fic? Cos I did. And it was awesome...but then I got the laptop and forgot the URL for it. Send it to me again!

Since that was just for me (or so I thought at the time ), I didn't bother to correct the perspective and such so that it didn't look like Sawyer's down on his knees.  But now I'm looking at that in a WHOLE other way...

Whoa, you're kidding! It's so huge I never expected anybody to take a serious run at it! Awwwww... *big, squeezy hug* I'm wrapping up the final storyline now, with an eye on ending in April on its two year anniversary.

Sheer paranoia.
I don't like putting my ISP and my security programs out there in public view. (see above notation about sheer paranoia )
And yes, that is my actual desktop but it was so covered with icons you could hardly see the picture. So I screencapped it and just put the original pic in place overtop the cluttered desktop. Voila! Sheer paranoia! Uh, I mean, sheer picture magic! |
