what is an AU vid? I feel I should know what they are since I have been vidding for nearly a year but I have no idea lol. Can someone tell me what it is?  |

Hey, don't feel bad at all! When you don't know something, it's best to just ask. Especially in cases like this where we seem to end up using a lot of abbreviations. 
Anyway, AU stands for "alternate universe," and just means that the vid isn't following the "rules" of the show. So if you make a "Sawyer and Kate flirt with each on the Island" vid, it's not AU. But if you make a "Sawyer and Kate knew each other before they were on the Island and actually they caused the plane to crash because of an accident with the nuclear bomb they just stole from a bunch of crazed bad guys" vid, then that's AU. 
Hey, that would kinda be a cool vid, now wouldn't it? Kinda Lost meets 24 or something!
