*gasp* What a pic, Steph! *falls over with a thud*

One never knows. What I couldn't help but laugh at was how they staged the opening scene with her exactly the same as the woman in the flashback from "Confidence Man." I couldn't help but think, "Dang, Sawyer, at least change-up the lines for each woman!" Of course, I guess if you find something that works, you stick with it...
I just had a flash of that poor woman (Cassidy?) sitting at the hotel he told her to wait at, checking her watch, then checking the calendar, still waiting all this time... *tsk-tsk* |

*sigh* That boy can do "intense" like nobody's business, hm? Thanks, PC! |
No prob!
And he does look very sincere in that picture, Fan4Lost ... (and incredibly adorable, but when doesn't that happen). I think the thing with Sawyer is that he actually knows he's a good guy inside, but doesn't want to admit or give into it (maybe because he feels it would make him vulnerable and thus would only make bad things happen to him), so he does whatever he needs to do to be the "bad guy." A sort of reaction-formation as Freud would put it. lol. ... Sorry, that's just in my head for some crazy reason.
Here are two more screencaps from The Long Con for some Sawyer-pity... (I swear, sometimes I think I live for Lost-media.com)

He's got this perfect expression of "Please forgive me. I didn't want this to happen."

I particularly like this one because it's like he's so deep in thought. He has that classical remorseful visage. It makes me want to hug him. lol. _________________

Ain't that the truth. I'd love to see Cassidy in future Sawyer flashbacks though. Maybe one in which he bumps into her again and he'd just make up this lame excuse about how he meant to meet her in the hotel, but got sidetracked...
But if Sawyer really did love this woman, the writers may bring her back to show what else could have happened between the two's past. _________________

I really love all the things that goes on on Josh's face, how you can just see all these layers of emotions shifting around. Yet he never seems like he's "Acting."
Of course, it's amazing that I can notice emotions on his face when I'm usually just staring, thinking, "Dang, baby, you're a hottie!"
Mmm, thanks for the new pics! They are scrumptilious! (Word of the day... ) |

I would love to just wrap that man in a huge big red bow, stuff him in my closet and take him out whenever I'm alone (he he he) and just....
Stare at him ::sigh:: Of course, being a married woman, that's enough for me. But if I wasn't married I'd CENSORCENSORCENSORCENSORCENSOR him. lol |

I really think he hated doing it- its like, he does it even though he knows its the wrong thing. He, for some reason, feels like he needs to be punished. Hes kind of like Captain Ahab: he spent his life pursuing the real Sawyer, and so blinded with that hatred eventually he destroys himself along with it. _________________

My thoughts exactly, Rocksiren Though I rather hope he doesn't actually destroy himself... because what's Lost without our sexy, sarcastic Sawyer _________________

Just a short article I found and thought it was pretty interesting. Found at Lost-media.com
Lost actor Josh Holloway feared his stay on the show would be a short one – because his character is so nasty.
Holloway plays Sawyer in the hit TV show, but the star thought his character would be so hated by the viewing public he’d soon be booted off Lost’s fictional island.
He laughs, “When I read the first script I was like, 'Oh my God, I might as well not even unpack my bags. He is going to be hated.
However, Holloway worked hard on giving Sawyer some kind of sympathetic side – and he feels his plan has worked perfectly.
“They gave me just a tiny bit of humanity and I blew it up as much as I could. I was like, 'Please be the guy you love to hate, not the guy you hate, because if you're the guy they hate - you're going to get axed.'
“So I was trying my best to do that and fans responded."
So happy to see that Josh was wrong about his character... _________________

Ya know, I know a lot of people who act like Sawyer. It's that self destructive behavior driven by self-hatred thingy. Kind of like, 'I-want-people-to-like-me-but-it's-easier-if-they-hate-me-because-then-I-won't-feel-guilty-about-all-the-bad-things-I've-done' complex. Oh yeah, classic case.
Seen it a million times |

| Quote: | Poo, y'all. My wireless card crapped out on me in my desktop and I can't get on the net. I have to use my dinky little laptop from like 1901 to go online. It's cool tho, usually after I crank the engine a few times the connection is pretty good. Just can't take the diesel fumes for too long. So, as for posting pics of our man, I'm SOL for now. And dang I had a good one with him when he was coming out of the water in Confidence Man and for a split second you can see just a glimpse of the top of his hiney. Love that! God, I'm a perv. |
EDIT: I changed the PCI slot for the card and now it's working...WooHoo! Must be a bad slot.
Well, I forgive Sawyer only because he's so delicious. I do not forgive Charlie! Jerk! But it will be cool to see if he can redeem himself after this one.
We shall see, mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha! |

Now HERE'S a pic from one of my most favorite of all the yummy Sawyer moments in all of Seasons 1 and 2, the fantabulous "I Never" scene:

If that intense look doesn't put a twist in your panties... Well, nothing will... |
