Second review of the evening

I saw this last week coz my mum decided to get 2 tickets ... she came in looked at me and my dad and said "right, i have to tickets to 'Memoirs of a Geisha' and guess what one of you is coming with me" me and dad looked at each other.... and my dad beat me to it by pointing at me lol

BUT.... i'm glad he did coz i loved this film... i had never read the book before so i had no idea what it was about but i agreed to give it a go.

Anyway it was just a really beautiful and powerful film, it was a little slow in some parts but it was still good and the performances from the lead actors were just amazing. I actually went and bought the book coz it was that good

so go and see it. Trust me it's good (not sure if guys would really like it, it's probably more of a chick flick)

A must see - ***** 5 stars

I have seen it, i thought it was amazing. A Few years ago i had tried to read the book but found it hard to get into, and i felt the movie really made me want to try and read the book again. I felt that it was soooo beautifully filmed, the costumes and the sets were amazing. The Geisha's looked fantastic and I think it really captured what it must have been like to be a geisha.

I would definatly go see it again

I heared that there would be a hollywood ending :/

My friend and I watched this movie. And we were so confused we both decided to read the book just so we could understand.

. But it was really really good!

I'm trying to hold of seeing this till I finish the book. I'm reading it right now for a free-reading unit in school, actually. I have to do a this big presentation on it and I was actually wondering:

anyone know where I can download movie clips/a bootleg version of the movie? I want to edit a video together for my introduction to my project.

I'll be forever greatful if someone can help me out. *bats eyelashes*

Ah, I used to have BlogTorrent on my computer but I think it got deleted. I can find it and try to download it again. Will that work for these torrents?

Waaaaah. My computer hates me and bitcomet won't work for me, so I can't open these torrents.

Vicky- is there any possible way you can send me the videos? Not even the whole movie, but I wanted to maybe make a cool video with the dance scenes. Again, I haven't seen the movie yet so I dunno if there's enough material for a good video. Help?

I saw it last week., or was it a few weeks ago...? LOL
anyway I loved it. Ziyi Zhang was amazing, she should be nominated for the oscars, totally robbed. Great movie. Cino Froth told me she read the book and there's much more to the story than the film. We both enjoyed the movie though.
