I hope Aaron is in danger.... Then Charlie can be like, "Told you Locke, you stupid old man!"
I seriously hope the others take Aaron next episode

Locke walked up to Claire and said, "How's our boy?"

Re: "Our boy." It's an expression. It doesn't mean anything and it certainly doesn't mean what you think it does.

And no matter what happens with Aaron, it still won't change the fact that Charlie set fire to the camp, kidnapped Aaron and hauled ass down the beach when Claire tried to chase him. People could have been seriously hurt in the fire and he freaking KIDNAPPED a child that he'd been expressly asked to stay the hell away from. There were better ways to go about it. Much better. He did just about the dumbest thing he could have done save for accidentally drowning the kid.

but the thing was that no body listened to him, thats why he did what he did. He tried to tell claire about it and she wouldnt listen to him. If i were in his position, I think i might've done the same thing. Having dreams saying that Aaron was in danger. I mean, all she had to do was batise him..

He meant the group in general.

And fine, hate Locke, only fair since we hate Charlie

But Charlie was completely out of hand and should have, nay NEEDED to be hit. He completely looked like he was going to drown the baby giving him a "baptism", and was obviously going crazy. Locke may follow visions himself, but even when Boone climbed into the plane he told him to get out when it started shaking. Claire was totally right too with the "you're hurting me.". Locke was protecting the baby and Claire, and didn't do anything to Charlie until Charlie struiggled further to try and get the baby, so Locke hit him. Probably a good thing too, Charlie had to be put in his place without it resulting in the entire camp attacking him to get him away from the baby.
Plus, he DID burn the camp down and everything all for a vision that to everyone else seemed completely like a drug-crazed one.

I was reading at Sledge's, and I like the theory that maybe Charlie has gotten the "sickness". Rousseau's team got it just around this time too. It might also account for Micheal going off and acting so much more crazy than usual

You know, thinking about Libby's comments to Hurley about the toe thing that Hurley couldn't remember and the plane... it almost seems to me like she was covering something up, playing a mind trick on Hurley to give him a false memory to distract him from thinking where he actually met her. Perhaps she was indeed at the mental hospital he was, or worse... Her tone of voice was the same as when she was talking to that guy with the broken leg, right before she snapped it in place.... hmmmm...

did he? A wise man once said "A crazy man doesn't know he's crazy. He thinks he's perfectly sane"

Eko spoke with him. He's the one who suggested the baptism. Charlie could have reasonably asked Eko to speak to Claire and suggest a baptism. That was one thing he could have done that he didn't even try to do. There were countless things he could have done differently. Giving her the time she had asked for was another option. He made very bad choices like he always does. You can't convince me that what he did was his "only option."

And to move the topic off of Charlie, although I love pointing out everything that's wrong about him.

I really liked Ana Lucia's little scene in this episode because it seems like she's less intense and I like her when she's like that. I really wish she'd interact with some of the other people though. Aside from the Tailies, Rafties, Jack, Sayid, and Sun (handshake!), who has she even had a scene with? (Especially since joining their side of the island.) I half expected Kate to say, "Who's that lady?" When she looked over at her walking with Jack. Haha. I would like to see a scene with her and Locke actually. Think they could bond over killing ex-step-siblings? (That was a joke, people!)

Everyone's crazier than an outhouse rat, I think thats clear.

YAY on the plot movement.

Hypocritical on Locke's part.

Very dodgy for Locke keeping the statues- "Locke problem"

Rocksiren IS NOT DRUNK!

is Locke an "other" (as suggested by two people who are NOT me?)?

Why exactly did Locke hit Charlie?

Locke gets points towards the complete "hypocrite" movement

Props to Ana Lucia for asking what everyone's been thinking- "she's hot, you'hot- you hitting it?"

And yes, Charlie couldve just asked. (No excuse for kidnapping, general criminal behavior). Also does anyone think Locke may have known about the heroine? Ive actually searche donline- there is NO drug native or indigineous to the Pacific that would cause the hallucinations like Locke's little cocktail did. Not even Kava.

I appreciate the "That was a joke people!" but what do you mean by that one he should have killed the guy though.... oooh that would be interesting if he did...

Yeah I really like Libby, but she's getting VERY suspicious after this ep... hmmm....

No worries KC, I don't think there's much room for pity for Charlie except by the most loyal C/C fluff fans.

EDIT:
Quote:

Why exactly did Locke hit Charlie?

When Claire had finally the baby back, Charlie tried to get past Locke one more time and go after Aaron, and Locke beat him down.

I can't answer that, but I CAN say that if he is, then he sure wasted a lot of time trying to get into the hatch. Not to mention the flashbacks!

Okay, as many of you probably can guess...I AM SUPER MAD at this episode! But since I don't want to be one of those annoying newbie types who only come on here to complain for like 4 hours we'll just say I'm not happy.

And the whole Locke hitting Charlie thing...I hate violence. End of story. He had no right to hit Charlie. Maybe if Charlie had kept Aaron longer and not given him up THEN you can hit him. You would think that Locke of all people would understand but for some reason he seemed a little "out of character" to me. oh well.
