this one came to me while watching someones top 10 jim/pam moments from the office; what about a Lost top 10 as a comp? It could be a theme like funniest moments or top season 1, 2, or 3 moments or saddest moments or kisses or whatever. or it could just be the vidder's fave moments. And it doesn't have to be heavy on effects at all; just as long as it counts down 1-10. anyone else think this would be cool? i'd love to see ppl's top moments

I kind of like that idea. I don't know how it would work for a contest (cause really who's to say someone's top ten is better than anothers). But I think it would just be fun for a bunch of us to do.

We could either all do our own all time top 10 moments or maybe we could all split up into topics like

Top 5 kisses

Top 5 scariest moments

Top 5 deaths

Top 5 revalations

Top 5 funniest moments

Top 5 nicknames

Top 5 fight scences

I love that idea! But I also can't think how it can be judged from another vid for a contest

Yeah, it may be interesting to watch, but it would be hard to judge, since you don't use many effects or anything. And how do you judge someone's top moments from another?

Yeah. Maybe you could make AU top moments but how you do that is beyond me

hmm...true. in that sense it would be great if it was an open vote to the forum or a poll or something and everyone could decide what vid was, for example, funniest, saddest, etc.

I'm actually really starting to like that AU idea. Though it could be very difficult depending on what you want to do. I have some ideas for it so maybe if it's not a contest I will eventually do it anyway. But before I do I'll have to sort my vegas and everything else out (I need to download the right vegas on the laptop this time )

Hmm...I just thought that I always use modern music for my vids, usually within the last 2-5 years, and at most 10 years. So what if we did a contest where we could only use 50's songs or something like that? A certain era? Not sure if anything like that has ever been done here, but it'd be stepping out of my comfort zone (and a lot of the people on here I'm sure) to use a song from that long ago, cuz that's waaay before my time, and not usually the type of music I listen to. xD

Good or sucky idea?

Ooh, after thought - Maybe we can make the vid look kinda old in style...maybe sepia toned, simpler transitions, I dunno.

We did have an 80's contest in may! I would love a 60's or 70's contest. 50's contest could be intresting though.

Exactly! I know I don't have any! Wait...I have one Elvis song...I think that's the earliest I have. xD A majority of us would be stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something totally new and different.

I thought there may have been an 80's contest, but I wasn't sure. Plus, I don't think it'd be a big deal to do a similar contest since 50's and 80's music differ...but just a little. Just kidding. It just popped into my head, and I thought it'd be an interesting idea.

no i agree it is a good idea! Because music changes with the times. Look at stuff from the 20's to stuff from the 60's! TOTALLY different! I was just saying that we did have one . Hmm i like some of the old 50's songs. Like isnt lime in the coconut one???

had sort of an idea this morning while watching all the bloopers from Lost; what about a bloopers themed comp? i was already planning on making a vid to the bloopers and then it hit me that id like to see what other ppl would do. Just a thought
