Here's ep 10, which will sorta begin the main part of the "Adventure". I mean, the adventure's already there, but this shows where they're headed for after Shallabonbon.

Episode 2x05: Mirror Girls.

Day 84: The Shallabonbon Hotel.

“Vicky?” Broadband Man yelled at the locked door. “Vicky, open the door!”

“No!” Vicky cried back.

“Come on, what’s wrong?” asked Broadband Man.

“You’re what’s wrong!” yelled Vicky. “You’ve turned into some stuck-up superhero!”

“Oh, come on, I’m sorry!” said Broadband Man. “I love you!”

“I fell in love with Matthew Fox, not his stupid alter-ego!” snapped Vicky.

“Sorry, but I can’t change the fact that I’ve…err…changed!” replied Broadband Man.

“Then just leave me alone from, now on, okay?” asked Vicky.

Broadband Man sighed. “Fine.” He wiped a tear quickly from his eye, still trying to be heroic, then walked off.



“Guys, we’re back!” yelled Colin, opening the apartment door.

“Hey!” said Aislynn. “How was your luck with the ladies then?” She laughed.

“Well, it sucked for me.” said Colin. “But, as for Josh…” Josh walked in with a beautiful girl. Everyone’s eyes widened, all thinking the same thing - her amazing resemblance to Aislynn.

“Everyone, I’d like you to meet Jessica.” said Josh.

“Hi!” said Aislynn. “I’m Aislynn.” It seemed that they were the only people who didn’t notice each other’s resemblance.

“Hey, pleased to meet you.” said Jessica. As the two of them chatted, Nate walked over to Josh.

“What the hell?” muttered Nate. “You’ve chosen a complete look-alike to Aislynn?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about!” said Josh.

“Don’t play the idiot with me!” snapped Nate. “I invented that!”

“And you’re very good at it.” replied Josh.

“Why thank-- wait a minute!” Nate rose his hand in the air, then simply walked away, annoyed.

“So, Jessica…” said Paul. “What do you do for a living?”

“Oh, I’m an actor.” said Jessica.

“Wow, get outta town!” said Aislynn. “Me too!”

“Really?” asked Jessica. “Would I have seen you in any movies?”

“Oh, no, I’m actually going to Broadway, not interested in film acting.” said Aislynn.

“You should consider film!” said Jessica. “You’d be good at it! I’m headed for Hollywood in a few days time. You’d be welcome to come along!”

“Maybe they could be a new version of the Olsen Twins.” Colin muttered to Paul.

“Hmm…” said Aislynn. “Would you guys be up for it?”

“Uhh, sure!” said Paul.

“Yeah, that sounds good.” said Colin.

Josh walked over. “Hollywood, huh?” he said. “Maybe me and Matt could work on ‘Lost’ while we’re there.”

Broadband Man heard Josh with his super-hearing and walked over. “My name is Broadband Man. Hmm, maybe I could play a superhero in the show!”

“No!” snapped Josh.

“Okay, then can I atleast be a heroic character who has a history of…medical treatment…or something along those lines?” asked Broadband Man.

“Oh, yeah, like that’s gonna happen!” laughed Nate.

“Great, so you’d all come with me?” asked Jessica. “Just one problem - the only flight I could get is to go to Australia first, then to Hollywood.”

“That’s kinda stupid, since Australia’s further away than Hollywood.” said Vicky, who was now feeling better, but wouldn’t speak to Broadband Man.

“Yeah, I’ll be on the same plane as these weirdos shooting some film called ‘Kangaroo Jack’, so they want a few minutes to see Australia before they go to Hollywood to try and capture it.” said Jessica.

“Uh…huh.” said Colin.

“So you guys could either get a better flight or come with me.” said Jessica.

“Oh, we’ll come with you.” said Aislynn. “To keep you company.” She hugged her, which again got everyone confused over which one was which.

Everyone got ready to get some sleep. As Aislynn and Nate walked into the bedroom, Nate asked her something.

“Don’t you see it?” he asked.

“See what?” asked Aislynn.

“The resemblance between you and Jessica!” said Nate, annoyed.

“What?” asked Aislynn. “We look completely different!”

“Oh, really?” asked Nate.

“Yes!” exclaimed Aislynn. “She’s way prettier than me!”

“No she’s not!” Nate argued. “You’re both equally good-looking!”

“Thanks, Nate.” said Aislynn, taking it as a kind compliment.

“Huh?” asked Nate. “But I meant--” Aislynn kissed him. Nate continued to speak. “Uhh…yeah, that’s what I was saying. Infact, you’re twice as good-looking as her!”

“Oh, you’re so nice, Nate!” exclaimed Aislynn, hugging him.

“I am, aren’t I?” said Nate.

Which is ALSO funny, but Nate doesn't get called an idiot, and, in fact, gets some G-rated loving. Which is better than no loving at all.

Great chapter, Marcus! I loved the "Kangaroo Jack" reference about them going to Australia for a few minutes so they could recreate it in Hollywood! How true is THAT?
