I will forever be a Jater.. ebizmybef74 is right: Kate and Sawyer are too similar, it wouldn't run.. If she really loves Sawyer, why she has kissed Jack? And how do you explain in the first season, when Jack is trapped in the cave with Charlie, Kate's worry? And after Boone's death, when Jack doesn't want to sleep?

Okay Rocksiren... breathe. Im a Jater, but I do agree with Rocksiren. Sometimes Jack is such a total noob when there's an oppertunity to kiss kate or tell her how he really feels and instead he just walks off or pisses her off. For example: In episode 19; when they are in the net, why not kiss her?

But my problem with Skate is that it is just too full on. When it comes to Skate, Kate gets all girlie if you know what I mean. Don't get me wrong I love the show and the 3 characters, but I suppose im probally rooting more for Charlie and Claire to become a couple if the whole Jate thing doesn't happen.

Well I'd rather be girlie than ignored and/or overlooked- and thats just Sawyer's personality. Im sure we have all known someone who hit on us like that one way or another...its more human than not.

but I do love both!, but if you look at my vids I mostly have jate because for me, its the easiest to make, im working on a skate one now though...

Its like...apples and oranges. I mean Jack and Sawyer are BOTH hot- just in different ways. I mean:

Jack:

1. cool hair. Not many guys, especially in my opinion, look *better* with the buzz (and I watched 2 years of Party of Five). I usually like more hair than the buzz.

2. The tattoos (insert Eartha Kitt growl here). Sorry I like tat's a lot, and his arent stupid- if you want to see stupid, go www.badtattoos.com (I think theyre signature is a skeleton resembling Tina Turner and riding a motorbike).

back on topic!

3. The guns. Sure, hes not absolutely RIPPED, but when he wears the sleeveless shirts, his arms are hot. He has that whole "athletically, healthy fit" look going on.

4. He has a kind face and a great smile. Kind brown eyes.

5. His goodness. From the time he was a little boy, hes seems to always wanted to protect the weak, speak for those who could not speak and do what was right (alrighty then...superman?). Yes this often leads our Jackie into the realm of the naive.

NOW, Our James:

1. Lets just get it over with. The bod. Its hot, he's ripped. Insert Eartha Kitt growl here.

2. His face. If he and Kate had kids, they would have disguistingly perfect profiles. The dimples, and those beautiful green eyes.

3. His hair. The way it swings dreamily in front of his eyes. Now Josh is definitley one that looks better with his "Sawyer" hair (post hair-cut season 2 was perfect).

4. His sense of humor. Humor is #1 for me, above just about anything else. His really super funny nicknames- if he were to nickname me, I guess it would be "Baby Ruth".

5. His confidence. He just wears his sexuality like an Armani suit. Confidence is important. Not "trustworthy" exactly, but when it comes down to things that REALLY matter (Libby's pain, freeing Kate, helping Claire) he is more than happy to help.

Okay so there you go, from me!

Im actually the one who voted "Convince me!" at the poll when this topic first started. But I found myself going Skate (ducks). Im sorry, Im not totally either way. Ive been in the situations of:

a.) liking someone, who liked me but was afraid to do anything about it. That gets VERY tiresome.

b.) somebody who openly likes me, and who I can relate to.

So I dont know, I think it probably WILL be Jate ultimately, but Kate and Sawyer better have a good go first. And I BETTER see SOME passion; not this sayid and shannon kissing and soft lighting off camera. I think as viewers, we deserve something more. Im not talking hard core porn, but I seem to recall an episode of Supernatural that I couldnt believe they showed that much...
