What is the difference between Suite and pro?

[Im1oftheOceanic6]

A Vegas suite includes other programs. I have a suite with one of my Vegas' and it has like 5 programs. The suite would probably have DVD architect, possibly an audio mixing program, etc. With the suite you are getting Vegas plus a couple other pieces of software.

With Pro, I think that you probably just get Sony Vegas. Pro does usually have more effects than a regular version of Vegas.

I think there are also Pro suites, which would have the best version of Vegas, plus other software.

Unless it is a pro suite, the suite will have basically a movie studio or movie studio platinum version of the vegas software. It would be like buying movie studio plus some other software bundled.

This might help explain the difference a little bit. I think its probably applicable to any version.

Hope that helps some.
