at this point it would be more strange if they weren't one of 'the numbers'.

i'd like to think otherwise, but i would bet $ that the writers (even jj) don't know the significance of the numbers yet.

Pretty much every number included in any flashback is one of the numbers.

" they don't know yet" thing
I bet they just use the numbers as often as they can, so that they can find the most weird explanation for them
