Just a warning to anyone using the video-sharing website.

IAC’s Vimeo is launching a new system that will automatically flag video uploaded by users if it’s found to match copyrighted content.

I use Vimeo a lot. I can't say I'm surprised to see them implementing something similar to what YT does. I figured it was just a matter of time, though.

I posted a vid on there today and it went on okay. But I didn't have an VO's and my music was supposed to be royalty free. So I'm guessing it passed their audio test.

I'm not surprised because Vimeo used to delete accounts more then YT. It's why so many put passwords on their vids.

I just heard about it yesterday from a friend who only used Vimeo.
