I host my icons and signatures on Imageshack. I logged on tonight to update them and it said I had 30 days left in my trial. It was counting today (the 23rd) as day one. It says it renews monthly.

I'm confused because I've had this account for over a year. So why would I have 30 days left now? Do I just have to log in every month to keep it active?

Just trying to figure out what the deal is. I've not had any issue with them so I'd like to be able to keep my images hosted there.

I just went to look because I thought it might've been to do with the amount of space they give you, but it looks like they're getting rid of the free accounts.

If you keep scrolling to the 'questions' section here: https://imageshack.com/promo it explains it. That really sucks!

I'd suggest using photobucket or imagebam if you want to upload anything in the future, they're similar. Let's just hope they don't follow suit.

Another good image hosting site that I use a lot (aside from imagebam) is imgbox. You might try them out as well!

I'll see if I can find another one I like to re-post my icon and sigs on.

That's a shame their getting rid of the free accounts. It was a good site.

It really stinks when companies think they need to charge people for something that should be free. I mean, they started it with free accounts, so they should just keep it that way. Honestly,I used it a total of 4 times over the past 2 years, and I'm sure my stuff is already gone.

Imageshack is no longer free. It's a dollar a month. I'm sure I got emails (but since I washed my hands of the site a year or so ago, I never bothered reading them) And for some reason ALL imageshack emails get sent to spam.

I know they revamped site; I think they went away for a while as well. So during that process they probably decided to make people pay. I prefer Photobucket to them.
