Lost Video Island

October 2013
Contest: The Naughty Corner
Deadline: October 31

This month, Halloween = Love For Villains!

From the bully Mona Vanderwaal from Pretty Little Liars, to Evil Queen Regina Mills from Once Upon A Time, to Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre, this month we want to see your favourite villains!

Are they passive aggressive sociopaths? Psycho Murderers? Flesh hungry monsters? Don't feel limited to the human race. Maybe you love when the zombies in Resident Evil or The Walking Dead chomp into someone, or when the aliens in Falling Skies or Alien swarm in and attack!

Whoever your villain may be, we'd love to see a vid celebrating all that is deliciously twisted about them. Bring on the crazy!

The Rules

Specific Contest Rules
• Show us why you love a token villain/s from film/TV.
• Include what makes them evil/villainous.
• Multifandom is welcome!
• Canon only. No AUs or OCs.
• Running time should be under five minutes. We suggest three to five minutes.
• The more creative, the better. Don't be afraid to take risks.
• When entering your video on the Submit page, you MUST enter "October 2013 contest submission" exactly in your vid's description.

General Contest Rules:
• Contest submissions should be entered through the Submit page.
• All regular submissions Rules apply.
• Only one entry per vidder.
• Videos already submitted and RELEVANT can be submitted again, but we would rather see something fresh. (Please contact a CM if you wish to enter a previously-submitted video)
• Please do not use Rapidshare, Yousendit, Mediafire, or Sendspace as your only hosting place as the links tend to expire quickly.
• If you're using Youtube as your primary link, please also provide us with an alternative link. Far too often, YT is either disabled or muted by the time the contest is ready to be judged. Mediafire and Zshare are just a couple of the sites out there that can be used as reliable backup links. We do realise that there have been a lot of issues with file-sharing websites recently but if you can find anywhere that you're comfortable uploading to and that is easily accessible, that would be great!
• Keep in mind that however you choose to host your video, it must be available to be watched at least until after the deadline has passed. If we can not access your video at the time of judgment it will not be considered.
• Have fun!

Could I enter my "Haunted" vid into the contest?
http://lostvideo.net/viewvid.php?vidid=8178

I originally had another video idea for the contest but was unable to find the version of the song I wanted. The versions I found just weren't a good fit for my idea. But I think this video fits the contest and it is actually about the same villain my other vid would have been about.
