Gale was one of the highlights of the book for me.
This movie looks really good, I can't wait. I preferred this book to the first one. |

I'm a little disappointed that there aren't any (warning, book spoilers!)
[spoiler:e0a60f6f64]arena scenes... and no Finnick... [/spoiler:e0a60f6f64]
but it still looks awesome! Can't wait!!! _________________

I'm thinking they want to leave that a surprise; because I think movies aren't just for the book fans; but for film fans. So I'm thinking they wanted to leave that to surprise people who don't know anything about the books.
I liked the trailer, it didn't tell us too much; just enough to get us to want to see it. I think trailers today reveal too much and often ruin the experience of seeing the actual movies. |

I figure they're going to do what the trailer for the first movie did, which was only show scenes up until they enter the arena. I thought that was really awesome and suspenseful! _________________

| Yeah I'm not shocked they didn't reveal arena scenes or that they were going back in the arena; it's a smart move. I hate trialers that give too much away. |

Totally agree, Brooke.
And it's really frustrating if the trailer turns out to be much better than the movie itself in the end _________________

Which happens a lot. And there's even times when a trailer doesn't give a movie justice and people don't watch it.
Like Hit and Run. The trailer, I didn't want to see it but I was like "oh what the heck" and saw it and really enjoyed it. |

I find it interesting that this trailer had so much dialogue and conversation. Most trailers go for the action-in-pacing-with-epic-music route.
I'm excited about this movie (even though the 2nd book was my least favorite of the trilogy)! I really enjoyed the first movie! _________________
