Ok so I decided to try my hand at musical editing. I did a mashup of No Doubt - Don't Speak and Aerosmith - Dream On. I think it turned out pretty good for my first attempt at editing music. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what I should vid to it?

Any feedback on the song would also be much appreciated. I'm going to touch up a few things before making a video for it. I noticed a few parts that don't sync up or just don't sound quite right.

I don't really know either song but it sounds great to me I wouldn't have been able to tell it was a mash up.

Don't Speak was popular in the mid 90s and Dream On is from the 80s I think? Maybe 70s even

Wow! That was really great! If I didn't know better, I would have never thought it was a mashup!

As far as what you should vid it to, maybe multifandom of some sort? couples, friendships, family. I think that Don't Speak alone could really work for any of those, though it is mainly used as a coupley vidding song.

Changed a few things to make it sound better, also added an equalizer bar thingy. Updated url in the original post.

As for the video I'm thinking of maybe doing a Bella / Edward video. It would work for this month's contest as I would never admit to liking Twilight

Wow! That was really cool! I'm familiar with both songs and I thought they complimented each other really well. I think that would work perfectly for an Edward/Bella vid for the February contest! I hope you'll do that!
