there are two monsters, one is good one is evil. One shows good stuff inside it, one shows bad. whoeva looks inside the monster sees a bit, bad or good, of there past. this is coz wen eko looked in it sounded like gun shots, from machine guns. AND wen locke sed i looked ito the eye of the island it was beautiful (good), but wen he looked into it agen he was scared (bad).

Okay, another crazy theory, Bernard is a millionare.

Why? Because I was just watching that deleted scene of Claire at the airport... the pilot says that his mom duped her boyfriend Bernard who sold her computer company for 39 million dollars. Coincidence?? Prolly.

But... if he does turn out to be a computer programmer who sold his company for 39 million, I so call it.

This theory is not a new one, but I think it hasn't been mentioned here before:
"The Others" are Danielle's former crew. And they did something to her which made her forget all about it... this implies that she must've done something stupid or awful first which gave them a reason to kick her out.
Well, I mean, why not... that woman is nuts and we don't know exactly why. I kinda like her and I think it's about time that we learn more about her and her background.

Some people believe that "Zeke" or "Mr. Friendly" or whatever you wanna call him is Danielle's husband and the father of Alex.

Okay heres a theory that Im SURE has been forwarded over at the Forum, but since I dont go there anymore, Ill put it here. My apologies if someone already thought of this. And its just an idea, nothing that I REALLY am into, just random thoughts. My friend Shan actually was the catalyst:

Its corny, I know:

That the people on the island, the survivors, are actually in comas and when they are "taken" or "die", they are actually waking up in a hospital. The "others" being doctors, nurses, etc. Since they are in a "limbo"- they see people that "passed"- Jack's father etc. OR that instead of 'waking up" they actually die in the real world.

Its kind of like that movie "The Others", where the "ghosts" were actually living people and the characters were the ghosts. Also I saw another movie called "Dead End", where this family is traveling on the scenic roads to a X-mas dinner, and they almost have a car wreck. Well, as they keep driving, the road never seems to end and they are chased and maimed one by one by a creepy black hurse. It turns out they really DID have a car accident with two other cars- a hurse and one with another family. And the daughter survives, waking up in the hospital. Just a theory...

I also think this because of the themes of "transcendence" in our main people that are dying. Like they DIDNT repeat the "mistakes" from their lives:

Boone- learned to stand on his own as a man and to have courage

Shannon- learned to accept the love given to her without looking for anything else

Ana Lucia- did NOT kill Henry for vengance, the way she did that other guy. Learned to forgive in her heart, and also we see she made piece with her mother

Is/was Libby *REALLY* a main person?

Perhaps this is a theme which is why hints are dropped throughout the show- from the word "Dharma" - A Hindu god, the personification of the divine inner 'law' (dharma). He was originally a creator god and the son of Brahma, but he is also considered as an avatara of Vishnu.

and the fact that they say "Namaste".

By the way that comic book thing is really creepy! Good eye!

Rocksiren, you're theory is very convincing to me. It makes alot of sense! but if that ends up being true i would be very upset cuz that would mean by the end of the show all of the characters would have to die . . meaning sexy sawyer goes bye bye as well as my belief that jate will live on forever will be crushed . . .

and also namaste means hello or goodbye. I dunno if that has already been said. I took Yoga and we had to say that before and after class.
