Lost Video Island

[LVI Council]

The LVI Council is proud to announce that the Member of the Month for September 2011 is Wickedgal!

Amy has been one of our friendly, wonderful, and dedicated members here for 3 years now. She is a sweet, fun, lovely person who's multi-talented: she also writes fics and does fanart in addition to vidding.

She always makes the time to leave thoughtful vid comments and she's someone who is constantly cheerful. It makes you smile just to be around her! She never hesitates to help others and she loves showing her appreciation for her friends, such as dedicating vids to them. The Council was so touched and surprised when she made a vid for us, recently! Thank You LVI Council (She had no way of knowing that we already had chosen her for the September Member of the Month. )

You can always feel her love for whatever TV show, movie or song that she's using in her vids. Whether it's her dedication to ABBA or to her ships such as PB&J and Chana, she always finds something to make you gravitate to her videos. She never fails to come up with innovative and unique twists in her work, from unexpected song choices or a creative subject matter! The fact that she does it all in Windows Movie Maker just goes to prove that the quality of a vid comes from the creativity and hard work of a vidder like Amy, not from your software!

She's constantly improving and evolving as a vidder and we look forward to seeing what she comes up with in the future!

The LVI Council recommends Wickedgal's following vids:

Sun//Dan- Name of the Game: A definite Council favorite!
The Secret Garden - Awakening of Spring: A beautifully made vid that takes a favorite childhood movie and reminds you exactly why you loved it in the first place.
Don't Stand So Close: Featuring an unlikely but awesome couple!

Vids that show off her ability to find a unique angle on a subject:

Dancing Queen
Greased Lightnin'

Other vids that we love for their ability to make you laugh, make you cry or leave you on the edge of your seat:

My Town
Marley & Me
Cold Case [Kuliet]

Be sure to vote and comment if you enjoy!

Thank you, Amy, for being such a fantastic member of LVI and congratulations on being our September 2011 Member of the Month!
