You can see the corner of my awesome, light-up, Pop Art 7-Up sign from the '60s behind me. (Think more Warhol, less Frat Boy.)

Looks good Kate! I wish I had the guts to cut my hair short ( seems like it would be freeing) but I know it would look awful on me b/c my nose is too big. You look great though!

Thanks, Nikki! My face looks weird and stretched in that photo but my webcam was acting up, so I couldn't be picky.

And yeah, short hair doesn't suit everyone -- and in all fairness, I would look really bizarre with long hair (trust me; I've tried.)

Technically, this is not a picture of me. However, I think that can be excused...

(Click for much larger photo.)

Meet my parents' new puppy. 9 weeks old, male Chesapeake Bay retriever (Dixie, the dog who passed away in December, was a female Chessie.) He is all puppy-wrinkly and very tired, and apparently confused by the presence of a camera.

I get to puppy-sit on Tuesday as my mom is having surgery (non-life-threatening.) More pics will be forthcoming here, because I cannot post them on FB (some of my friends are my dad's current coworkers, since I used to work there too, and he is much more private than I am, hence...)
