I didn't buy that Jack wanted to leave Kate. I know I am a bias Jater here, but he stopped moving when she called his name, as if he wondered if she jumped out of the boat.Also, he was forced to get off the boat because he was thinking 'crazy', like Sawyer assumed.

I never bought Christian was Smoky either. Christian just like the rest of the losties needed to find a redemption. I think he's Christian, a lot of people get mad at me for saying that. But look at this island, i'ts not your typical island either. To me there are more signs that says he's not Smoky then signs that says there are. When Smoky is someone who is dead, he's usually someone who means something to that person. Ben saw Alexis, Echo saw Yemi, Richard saw his wife. Why would smoky go to everyone as Christian? I don't buy that smoky is Christian.

Also, I think Jack was the scapegoat on Juliet's death. Juliet only sided with Jack because of Sawyer. So I think in that case, more then one person is to blame.

I don't care who Sawyer sides with. I just want him to be nice to people, he always has a reason to be sour to everyone.

I felt that the Jack/Claire reunion was weak. I was disappointed that we didn't get to see her reaction to finding out that her brother is Jack. I felt like there are things they are focusing too much on this season, and wrapping up character development too quickly.

I do think that Jack's got a lot on his plate, and I can understand that.

I also think it's gotta to be weird for both to realize they have a sibling, especially someone you know. I didn't they'll be "OH MY GOD!" And hug and cry and talk for hours. But I wanted something more.

This episode was interesting, but for some reason, it didn't excite me. The only parts I got slightly worked up at was when Sayid went to kill Des and the Jun reunion. And even that was more like "Finally!!" instead of "Omg YAY!!"

I think the Jun reunion had potential to be freaking epic, but because the major lines Jin & Sun have had this season have been "where is my wife/husband?" and "I want to find my wife/husband", in the end, I think it just got very contrite & annoying. Plus, I guess I just don't think anything can really beat the Des/Pen reunion in Season 4. That one was EPIC. That's what the Jun reunion should have been....

As far as smokie being Christian, in the grand scheme of the show, it makes sense. It explains why Christian's body wasn't in the coffin, it explains why Jack saw him (and others too). I think he's appeared as other people simply because he needed to in order to compel that particular person. If he had appeared to Ben as Christian Shepard, do you think Ben would have listed to him? Same with Echo & Richard - would they have listed if it was some random person they'd never met? Later on, I think it was just easier for him to be Christian for awhile - and being him made it easier for him to manipulate Locke into bringing everyone back...

I'm just saying, in the grand scheme of things, it makes sense. Except for him being on the Freighter, but that's probably something they didn't think about...

I like how it seems everyone is starting to end up together in the Alt-verse. Alt-verse is gonna get pretty interesting soon, methinks

And yeah, I don't think Sayid killed Des. I think Des may have turned Sayid around....

jack/Claire sibling reveal - FINALLY! - come on! altho its been awhile since claire's been given pre-credits screen time; loved that She was like her old self in that scene, god I love her! Her flashsideways wig was so much better this time! And i loved that it continued in the alt-verse That was a great scene too

Is it SO hard to call an obviously Claire-centric ep just that? Why bother with multi? her story was the one we saw most of :S:S

I think she's starting too, the promise of being with Aaron I think is statring to make her turn, or she wouldn't have got on the boat. i too was very pissed that Sawyer was so okay with letting her leave, and Jack and Hurley for that matter. Abandon the girl again, why don't you? I knew kate would say 'im not going unless she does' (thank you spoilery promo pics), but I do think *and i know from watching interviews that Emilie does too* that the old Claire is in there still

Skate in alt-verse = awesome. I seriously was like this: for that full scene, lol.

that aside, I love this episode. Sawyer is still the Sawyer he has always been, he makes harsh decisions and is a bit of a dick about thing, but he has a reason for it. He didn't want Claire there because he was afraid she would hurt Kate again, or one of the others, or even himself for that matter.

The fact that Kate was the one to change the plan was fantastic imo, I teared up at her talk with Claire.

I love how some people want Sawyer to be grieving Juliet ( for well....forever in some peoples cases) yet the fact that he is still pissed at Jack is a terrible thing. Can't have in both ways.

I do, however loved how Jack has been this season. Him and David are seriously so effing adorable<3 !

Seriously though.....NO JACK AND CLAIRE HUG?!!?! WHYYYYY!?!!? lol that really annoyed me. It was before he found out she tried to kill Kate so come on man...what the hell?!

I don't have much to add just that I LOVED this episode...probably b/c of the Kaire and Skate. Kat I knew you'd the love "I never should have raised him scene." I thought you the second she said that. haha
This one of those episode I have to watch more than once. LOL I'll probably watch again today!

Am I the only one that wasn't really pissed about them deciding to leave Claire behind?

I thought it was kind of brash of them, but at the same time - this isn't the same Claire they knew. She's something else entirely and to take her with them would have been a huge risk - both for their safety and if they were to actually get off the island, for Aaron's safety as well. You don't want a bi-polar, crazy lady raising a child....

In all honesty, I didn't blame them one bit for wanting to leave Sayid & Claire behind. I think Sawyer & them were totally justified in that decision. I'm glad it worked out that Evil Claire seems to be fading away a bit, but still....like I said, I didn't blame them for thinking she posed a threat to them....

Wow i liked this episode a lot.

First of, since this is a vidding board: There were LOADS of amazing scenes in this episode which will be GREAT for AU vidding, i think we can all agree ont that.

Now the episode.

The AU storylines were super awesome. Jack and David were adorable. Sun recognising Locke was so creepy/cool. Her waking up at the hospital whit Jin by her side was one of the most amazing moments ever. Ben telling Locke that he'd still marry Helen was heartwarming aswell. I didn't care too much about the AU-Skate and AU-Sayid stuff..

The Claire/Ilana/Desmond thing was superinteresting but her scene with Jack was WEAK. Wanted more.

Island Stuff.

I liked the bit with Jack and Claire even though there wasn't a hug. I hated the Hurley/Claire reunion. They were such good friends and everything.
Also didn't like the Monster calling Locke a Sucker.

THEN. James 'Sawyer' Ford, Jack Shephard, Sun-Hwa Kwon and Hugo 'Hurley' Reyes would have NEVER left Claire like that. NEVER. Not after Sawyer was so overprotective of her back in S4. Not after Jack found out their siblings. Not after Sun finding Charlie's ring and being friends with her on the island. AND not after Charlie asking Hurley to take care of her while he's gone. No this is utter bullshit. She may be in a strange place right now but her true self is coming through the whole time. They would have never left her. Sorry but my heart broke when she saw them all walking away.

I liked Kate for the first time in a real long time. I was all "Yeah KATE! You go GIRL!!"


Jack Stuff was pretty good. The Jack/Sawyer/Kate scene was so damn intense. LOVED the scene. EL did an amazing job in this episode. Her screaming for Jack and crying over Claire made me cry aswell.

And as you guys now, i'm the biggest Jun-Shipper in the world so excuse this:

It was beautiful. You know how Sun could always speak english and Jin was stuck in his korean? It wwas the exact opposite now. I cried so much. As you guys pointed out it could've been way better but I'm totally happy with it. SO beautiful. *cough* Anyway....

Flocke was definately NOT Christian. Can't wait for the reveal.

Sayid/Desmond was heartwrenching. The music.
