Lost Video Island

Pretty please? This whole subject makes me sad, so I'm not sure I want to take on the task, but damned if the song isn't crazily appropriate.

Lyrics!

Quote:

If I raised my hands Would you save me or would you shoot me? I don't know just what I want I hope it's over quickly and I don't feel a thing 'Cause I've been terrified by these crashing waves I've been paralyzed by the sight of the sand Drowning in the shallows I've been drowning in the shallows If you see me on the surface Push me under and hold me down 'Til you're sure I've changed I've been so scared of feeling bad I don't feel anything at all these days These days I've been terrified by the sight of your face I've been paralyzed by the touch of your hand Drowning in the shallows I've been drowning in the shallows I jumped in the water 'Cause the ground was killing me And the deep blue sea just dragged me down I turned to head back for land I got scared at the sight of the sand Now I'm treading water, starting to drown... In the shallows Drowning in the shallows

... some pretty obvious stuff there, I think, and it's a fun and fairly rocking (if minor key) song.

I've had three people tell me that I should take this one on myself, so since nobody's grabbed it yet, officially retracting the request to do it myself (now that Sundown's a few episodes in the past and at least Sayid is doing things again). Stay tuned.
