Oh yeah dude, Kate should totally be on that list. But he did touch seven of them, right? Eight technically because of Sun and Jin. Maybe Hurley isn't really a candidate, but Jacob touched him for some other reason? That sounds wrong, lol.

When i saw Kwon, I assumed it was both of them... like maybe protecting together, because their together? That was just what I assumed right away.

So all those other crossed out names... were they the other passengers form 815, or were they different names? Because if they weren't other passengers names, then that means that all those other characters we loved that died--Boone, Charlie, Eko, Shannon, Ana-Lucia, Libby--were just innocent causalities because Jacob was getting the candidates to the island? That would really freaking make me mad.

This was a really good episode, and I seriously LOVED all the AU connections!!!!! Seeing Hurley, Rose working for Hurley, seeing Ben! So great. And I am SOOOOO happy that AU Locke is with Helen!!!!

Also, I am now really seeing the personality shifts of Locke and Jack. I didn't quite get it at first, but now I see it! Pretty cool stuff.

i really do think boone, shannon etc were all just casualties of fate.
i noticed some other names and they were unfamiliar, so i think their just all the names of other potential candidates jacob brought. its clear hes been doing it for a long time

Oh god, I wish lol. But I think it's more likely that it stands for Sun and Jin.

However, provided that one of them actually WILL become the new Jacob in the end, who do you think it would be?

I wish it could be Locke since he loved the island so much--he would have been the ideal successor. If that still can't somehow happen though, I would say that either one of the broken men--Sawyer or Sayid (sad, I know, but it's true)--would take over. If Sayid is "infected" my bet would be with Sawyer.

I think that because he touched both of them. I think if he only intended for JIn or Sun he would have found a way to touch them somewhere else.

I think we're left to wonder 'who it is'.

When I used to think the Smoke Monster was actually good, I thought he was killing the ones that were not meant to be on the island off.

Yeah, but they never would have been in that situation if Jacob hadn't brought the candidates to the island somehow. I mean, I totally loved Jacob from the moment we were introduced to him in the season five finale, but I feel like he might not be that great after all.

I kind of think there are accidents too. For example Frank was supposed to be the pilot.

So perhaps everyone brought on the island, not all of them were meant to be on that flight.

I am also glad that HOCKE Is back! He was so happy with her. And they seem to be happier in this timeline than they were in the last.

And did anyone notice she mentioned his dad in a positive way! So that could be why Locke seems happier in some sense minus the legs.

I don't know why But I am thinking it's Jack. I don't want it to be though.

Perhaps Locke isn't done yet? It's a weird island, I think anything is possible. I say this because I think if Locke was dead, Jacob would know. And would have crossed his name off. So perhaps in some weird..way it coud still go to Locke. He'd be better suited for it.

Could Littleton also stand for Shepherd? Maybe the Shepherd isn't just Jack, but the family.

Also, perhaps Fake Locke is lying. What if Jacob doesn't want a replacement. I don't think he planned on dying because he's very old and has never changed. It kind of seemed like he's always been the 'leader' of everything.

It could always be something else. Not just a replacement.
