Lost Video Island

[Brooke]

I thought it was well executed. The editing between 'flashback' and the present were nicely done.

Thanks Kate and Brooke!

Beautiful job, Nikki! I really loved Claire being reunited with Aaron. And Uncle Jack was there reading to him lol. At the same time though it was sad for Kate and you got the emotion of that across really well, especially with the little flashbacks of Kate with Aaron at the end. Lovely work

That made me cry! That was really really good, Nikki! Another favorite! That song was soooo cool and I loved the scenes and audio you used, too, and the coloring was awesome!!! I loved this one soooooo much!!!! Great job!

[nikkimonique]

Jemma, Thanks! So glad to hear you the ending came across the way I had hoped it would!!

Julia, awww sorry it made you cry but that just means I did my job. Thanks!!

Thanks Kimmy. Glad you liked the coloring. Took me awhile to find the right one I liked.

The sepia bits are great, but the scenes with Kate & Aaron with this glowing effect are just amazing. Love the song, still find it hard to believe that someone was amazing enough to write a song as a request and do it so wonderfully and then actually perform it as well as they did.
This video is just great, and heart-breaking....and with such beautiful scenes.

[nikkimonique]

Thanks! And yeah I know! I was so excited about the song I had no choice but to vid it!

Wow this is lovely. Just lovely.

What are the lyrics to the song? I would love to see them.

[nikkimonique]

Hey KC. Sorry... I just now saw this comment.

Here are the lyrics.

there are castles and kingdoms
that light up your eyes
and a past full of fables
I cannot disguise
one day you'll seek answers
while questions arise
I hope you know
that I love you still

I never could have guessed
that you would would be the key
to my life finally making sense to me
but when I took you in my arms
tried to keep you safe from harm
something new was revealed
something old was healed

you have your mother's eyes
and her sandy blond hair
she loved you very much
you were a beautiful pair
we can only run so long
before the past catches up to us
the hardest truth to know
is that I have to let you go

there are castles and kingdoms
that light up your eyes
and a past full of fables
I cannot disguise
and one day you'll seek answers
while questions arise
I hope you know
that I love you still
