Um so i dont know what i did lol but i clicked something and next thing there is the magnifying glass symbol showing up where the arrow for whevever you point the mouse on the screen should be. it only comes up when i bring the mouse onto the timeline, and if i click any of the clips instead of pointing to the clips it just enlarges the clips on the timeframe. So the pointer thing is stuck on the magnifying command thing, how do i fix it so I can edit again? lol

I do this all the time when I hit the "D" key instead of the "S" to split a clip.
It's pretty easy to fix, you can either hit the "D" key until your mouse goes back to normal (if you're on the Zoom edit tool with the magnify glass then you just need to press it once) or you can go up to the toolbar and click the button that has an symbol that looks like an "I" and has a blue wavy line in the background, or just hit Ctrl+D.
