I didn't see an actual discussion thread for FF yet, just ones with promo pics, so I thought I'd open one.

First of all, FF is totally the new Lost for me. At least, I can see it being "that show" for me. It's just sooo good!! Great cast (I loved almost all of the main actors before the show, so it's really interesting and fun to see them all together in this), cool storyline (though I'm a bit worried about it's potential for seasons to come), I'm already emotionally invested in the characters and want to know more about them/their pasts and flashforwards and how they start piecing things together... I can't wait for the next episode!

I second that! (And the thread.) Maybe after the show ends we'll have to change it to 'FVI'!

Even after just one episode, you can definitely draw a lot of parallels to Lost in terms of the characters, scenes, (actors! ) and even the overall theme of 'Fate vs. Freewill'. Oh and already, Mark kind of reminds me of Jack.

It was probably the best pilot I've seen since Lost (and the most expensive! ) So well written and well thought out. I love the mixture of good and bad that comes with the flashforwards -- how some of the characters lives were improved by them and some were just ruined. I can't wait to see more!

Yeah I enjoyed it. Did you catch the Oceanic Airlines poster in the background? lol Don't think it will be as big as Lost but it seems like a fun show.

lol Yeah, I caught that poster. I don't think it will be as good/popular as Lost in the long run, like I said, the the plot seems like it might run out after a season or two. I think we just meant that once Lost ends, it may "fill the void".

Nah, it didn't start yet, Nikki. The pilot will air this Thursday. Samara and I saw it 2 weeks early at the D23 (Disney) expo, but you can download a low quality version on some sites. I'm guessing that's what Paul did. We just knew it was floating around and wanted to see if other people had seen it too.

I LOVED IT.

[spoiler:2a1aaf048e]The cliffhanger at the end of the guy awake in the football stadium freaked me out O_O I was just like, WTF? I guess he's gonna be a major part of why it happened and who caused it.[/spoiler:2a1aaf048e]

My eyes were peeled for potential main hotties Mark, I found, is kinda good-looking, but too tough for me. Of course, the #1 hottie was Seth MacFarlane, playing one of the investigators. His role was bigger than I thought it'd be. I thought he'd just stand there and look pretty, but he delivered his lines well and there was no trace of him being a comedic actor.

I just wrote an essay on the acting of a background charater. Go meh XD

Anyways, I find Demetri quite hot

I was disappointed Sonya wasn't sticking it for the Brits with her accent, but her American accent is very convincing.
And anyone else noticed:
Sonya's character on FF has a daughter called Charlie.
Sonya's character on LOST has a son called Charlie.
Dominic Monaghan, who plays the Charlie in LOST the baby Charlie was named after, is also in FF.

Coincidence or not?

Which reminds me: no sign of Dominic.

o..m..g I LOVE this show. just saw the first ep and Im hooked. this will make the hiatus go by rapidly fast. can not WAIT till next thursday. ahhh i love this show. cant wait till its online i wanna watch it again already
