Was anyone else unable to get on LVI for like 4 days? Every time I tried my virus scanner found a trojan...got it cleaned, but couldn't get on here. Thought I'd let you know...

Same exact thing happened to me too! My virus protection went bonkers every time I tried to come to the site. Something about a link to a known exploitation site. Wonder what the deal with that is?

Anyways, I'm glad it's okay now. I've missed LVI!!!

Unfortunately, we've been the target of a very persistent hacker bot thing (technical term ) for the past 4 days. We're so very sorry for all the inconvenience and we're doing everything we possibly can to get LVI back up and running smoothly. Thanks so much for all your patience!

Thanks so much for keeping us posted, Ais, as well as trying your hardest to keep LVI up and running smoothly. Stupid hackers! It's so annoying when I want to go spam with my peeps, and I get that trojan warning. Can't wait until the silly thing is gone for good.

For the past day or so when I've gone onto the main page here, I've gotten a virus warning....didn't know if it was affecting the forums, but apparently it's not? Anyone else getting this?

Oh yikes, Eryn! I'm not seeing anything but that doesn't mean it's not there. Let us know if it does it again, if you would? Also, if you happen to catch what sort of virus it's saying it is, that could be helpful. Sometimes just being hacked triggers a virus warning because your anti-virus detects something "wrong" with the site's code. However, I'm not showing that the site is hacked right now either...

We've been having trouble with our server being unresponsive or very slow the past few days, which is something on their end that they have to work out, so hopefully it's coming from that and not a real beastie!

So sorry about that, hon! I hope that it's nothing! *fingers crossed* ♥

Okay it came up again - it says Exploit/HTM Iframe or something along those lines....I dunno. My antivirus software gets rid of it really easily and it only pops up on the first page of the site, not the forums...odd.

Weird, Samara said that it was doing this to her the other day too, but nothing came up for me when I tried (at the same time), the site looked fine and I didn't get any virus software popups. And Abby and Yael were on at the same time as this was going on and they didn't mention anything in spam...
