I think it just meant he didn't actually remove the brain, lol. XD

Lol, I also missed what happened to Niki O____O I'm gonna have to watch the episodes I missed some time

Maybe we'll have to rewatch, Sassy 'cause I'm pretty sure Nathan was dead. Maybe the injury killed him or something? =p Still horrible though, I hated that bit ;_;

Hope next week's episode was better than this one. I don't like our favourite characters going evil

lol Eryn. Well, I know that, but he didn't try to remove the brain either.

I don't get the point of Peter doing that anyway. Duh! He doesn't have to KILL anyone to get their power, just absorb it when they use it... soooo, the "hunger" is to get other people's power, right? Well, get it the regular way! It was stupid on the writer's part to try and make him another "Sylar". Cuz the hunger isn't to cut someone open, the hunger is to know more, to get more... so if he can do that without killing people, why the hell wouldn't he? I assume that Sylar kills because that's the only way he can feed his hunger and get to the power, but Peter can feed his hunger for more power without killing them. *head desk*

I knowwwww, it's so stupid! They're just trying to break the Peter fans hearts... XD

Favorite characters going evil is a very bad thing...it's like the way Charlie acted in Fire + Water only 1000000000 times worse because it's, like, EVERYONE!

Also they apparently don't feel bad about it.

I don't know - it was my understanding that the hunger was to understand how something works, to see and understand how it functions. Sure, Peter can absorb a person's power, but absorbing doesn't necessarily means he understands how it works....

But yeah, it is kind of dumb to say that Peter needs Sylar's ability when he can already do the same thing without killing people...

Damn, I never really realized how flawed the writer's logic is! It's like they don't even try to close plot holes & fill in the blanks....like with Lost - you know they're going to explain it eventually. Things start to make sense, but here they keep adding more elements but forgetting the other elements they already put into place! T'is odd...

There are a few issues with that, Abby.

Once, Sylar has the power, his DNA changes (he alters his own DNA to match the person's, well the part with the power)... so I'm sure he can understand how his own body works.

Besides, he doesn't need to play with the brain to get it. Remember what Sylar said? "I know how your power works" and something about it "feeding off of fear" but "I'm not afraid of you". He didn't cut open Knox, he was still alive. He just automatically knew how his power worked. To get the power, I'm guessing maybe he has to touch him somehow, like his brain, but since Peter can absorb it, it stands to reason that he wouldn't need to kill him at all. He can understand the power anyway, and then just absorb it.

The writers strike really screwed with Heroes last season...I know there were plot holes they intended to fix, but with the strike, storylines had to get cut.

But yeah, I really wanna know why Future Peter was all, "ZOMG YOU MUST GET SYLAR'S POWER!1!111"

Also...I must know exactly what Mohinder's power is...I think he's reptile man...hence the rattlesnake noise we heard every time he showed up last episode.

At first I thought he was bug man, but then I switched to reptile man. His skin "rash" is his molting skin so he can have new, icky, reptile skin. lol And he has heightened senses, which is cool... but it would be cooler if he didn't have reptile skin. hehe

Oh, and when did Maya start dressing like such a slut? xD And why was she so lovey around Mohinder? and why did she have sex with him anyway? LOL It was so random. Maybe she was turned on by his sudden burst of newfound confidence, but still. Mohinder didn't seem to think it was a long term thing. lolz

Ha, she think she's his girlfriend now that she knows Sylar's really evil. I thought it was amusing tho, I was like, "Wth? You just met him!!!" It was insanely random...Mohinder was just like, "What the heck...off with her shirt!!"

I have a feeling Future Peter is the bad guy. That's just my gut. I think that what they're doing now is setting it up to look as though Future Peter is trying to help, but really he's just messing about with everything so it changes or whatnot, and Claire & The Company are trying to stop him, so they're really the good guys. It just looks like they're evil right now

Yeah, I don't know what's going on with Mohinder. Whatever it is, it's yucky And Maya has definitely sexed it up a bit this season!! I honestly don't care for her...I think they need to get rid of her. I was so pissed off when they brought her back to life after Sylar shot her last season! It was like "yay!! The wonder twins are no more....wait....WTF? NO!!!" XD

Cause like, Maya is so completely useless. She's a stock character - they don't need her. The story won't suffer if she goes away....only Mohinder will suffer, and it looks like he's doing that already, so come on writers!!

Honestly, I don't really think Peter OR Claire are good in the future. Maybe what Peter's doing is bad, but it sure seems like what Claire's doing is bad too. I mean...torturing Peter? Present Peter, who's done nothing wrong yet? That doesn't seem like something a good person would do. Just my opinion, lol.

Maya, I can take or leave. We'll see if this power of hers turns out to be a big storyline or anything, but she doesn't really seem to be contributing anything...other than helping Mohinder figure out how to give people powers, which isn't necessarily a good thing. Lol, when she walked out on Mohinder in the last eppy, I was like, "And now....cue Maya being written out of the show from now on!"

Question: Why aren't there any good, strong female characters on Heroes that aren't written off or killed?

Eden -- dead
Simone -- dead
Janice -- written off
Charlie -- dead
Dale -- dead
Nikki/Jessica -- dead
Heidi -- mostly written off
Yaeko -- probably written off
Caitlin -- probably written off (where DID she go? Jeez, writers)

Claire, Sandra, Maya, Elle -- they've all been portrayed to a certain degree, either as defenseless creatures who need to be protected (by men), or as someone who lets their emotions overcome their judgment, either way... Daphne is decent, but they killed her in the future. Molly's too little to count and she's not in it much. Also, Monica will be back, I hear, but she's being written off! And she had a cool and unique power! I guess Angela is a strong woman and cool kinda, but she's also a bit of a bad word.

I freaking LOVED Eden and Charlie...they were awesome. And I wish Eden had stuck around because do you know how awesome Sylar/Eden would have been?? I hope Monica doesn't get written out...I love her!

I actually think Claire is a strong character...just because her emotions get the better of her doesn't mean she isn't strong. She tries to do what's right and fight for what she believes is good....even in the future I think she thinks she's doing the right thing.

Also in Elle's defense - she really goes her own way to prove herself. To her father, yes, but pleasing her father is all she's every known. Elle can take care of herself.

BTW, Molly is made of awesome...she's adorable. I love her relationship with Mohinder and Matt.

Yeah, I couldn't tell you Sassy. Half of those people I don't even remember, to be honest!!

I think Eden & Simone had the most potential to be the bad-ass female but they both got killed off.

It's just a theme on TV dramas, unfortunately. There really aren't very many well-written & strong women on TV these days. The last good female character I can recall is Sydney Bristow on Alias, and even she had her issues and was kind of week and fickle to a point.

Even the characters on Lost are like that - all or most of the female characters on that show are defined by the men in their lives, Kate especially. Ana Lucia was the closest thing they had to a bad-ass, independent women, but the writers still managed to show her demons and such were caused by men, and of course - they had to show her using her body/sex to gain the upper hand (with Sawyer). It's like writers think women are incapable of doing stuff like this without getting nekkid

I couldn't stand Simone. I thought she caused way too much drama for Isaac and Peter....triangles are more trouble than they're worth. It's too bad Isaac got killed off right after Simone, because he had some definite potential to be awesome without Simone around.

Why do you guys think Claire couldn't be the "badass female"? I think it's great that they didn't make her the stereotypical, shallow, blonde cheerleader and made her much more than that.
