I saw a spoiler pic where Sylar was all bloody and kneeling over an apparently dead blonde with that distinctive line across her forehead and there's been much debate in the Syelle comm over who the blonde was because the angle made it hard to tell. We were hoping it was going to be Tracy. (Um, sorry, Tracy... )

[spoiler:fbf8a03027]You know, the more I thought about it, the more I'm wondering if that even was Elle, because didn't she seem sort of out of character? I mean, the last time Sylar tried to cut her like that, she blew up and zapped him into next week! Even if -- like I've seen people suggest -- that she thought she "deserved it" this time, how could she not have struggled just because of how much it hurt? Yet she wasn't sparking at all.

Also, somebody in the Syelle comm pointed out that he said, "I was thinking about what you said about being free from powers and parents" and she said, "What about it?" But she wasn't the one who said that earlier, he was. Then he gets that sort of crafty/evil look in his eye like he's figured out that this is NOT Elle and that's why he kills her.

Need I even SAY how much I'm hoping this is the case? Because otherwise how would it make sense for him to sacrifice his life for her earlier (when he had no idea that he would get his healing powers back in the nick of time), just to turn around and kill her?

So I'm hoping that even though Elle may be off the show for a while (Kristen Bell was only contracted for X number of eps ), that we'll eventually find out that Hiro actually teleported her someplace else and then she and Sylar will meet up again. *has hope that her awesome OTP will be seen again* [/spoiler:fbf8a03027]

OOOOH, Ais! I LOVE that theory! You're right...it does seem like it could be plausible. It DOES seem very twisted and wrong of Sylar to kill her after everything.

Muahaha, know how I said earlier that maybe everyone's powers would "reset" after the eclipse? Well, the powers didn't reset, but a lot of characters seem to be acting like they did in S1. Sylar, Nathan, Claire, Hiro... Idk, maybe it's just me, but it made me happy to kinda be right.
