I use video download helper add on for firefox. It downloads it as an FLV so you'll need an FLV converter though but at least you don't have to rely on those dodgy sites to do it for you.

Yeah, I can download videos offline through Real Media,

I don't find that site dodgy It was actually Kayla that found it, and I find it quite useful Better than vixy.net

Agreed! Vixy.net is crap, imo. The site hardly ever manages to get a connection to the Youtube server. Zamzar works pretty well though.
