Wolf Creek.....and it scared the sh*t out of me! But I love how on edge it had me...not many horror movies can successfully do that to me. Usually they just make me laugh.

I know! I bet it was even scarier for you Kat since it really happened in Australia and that guy is still out there! Yeah that scene was awful but that was a better way to die then how her friend died. OMG after he cut off her fingers I had to close my eyes...lol actually I dove into Kemper's shoulder and hid my face...lol...I don't know exactly how he killed her but it sounded very disgusting! Too bad she dropped the gun! She should have stayed to look for it longer! Stupid!

lol Nikki. I only saw part of that movie! I still need to rent the whole thing. :s I need to get my brother over here to watch it with me. He's my horror movie buddy, cuz he likes them too. He generally likes the more intelligent ones, like Saw, that have some sort of a point, rather than a guy just butchering people, but we could try it.

lol; well that's way way way way in the centre of the country, im in the city but yes, to know that crazy guy is still out there somewhere is def. freaky. its so depressing tho as movie! cos you think they're gonna get away and they dont and that poor old guy who stops to help that girl gets his brains blown out definitely a good scare flick tho Why she didn't pummel the guy to death after she shot him when he was at her friend i dont know :S

That's good at least. I was wondering where Wolf Creek was in relation to you. It seems like your weather is similar to ours...really hot in the day and really cold at night. It can get pretty cold at night in the summer here. So is the air dry or humid?

Actually, did it really even happen in Wolf Creek? I think they may have just used that location. Plus, there wasn't even a real "Mick" (I think that was his name). This movie was loosely based off of two different murderers in diff parts of Australia. One that was killing backpackers, and one that kidnapped a couple, murdering the guy and raping the girl, and she got away. And I think they were both convicted? The murderers? I forget.

well at the end of the movie it says that there wasn't enough evidence to convict the guy and that they never found the two girls.

Yeah, I just looked it up. None of the characters were actually real. The story was loosely based off of Ivan Milat who killed backpackers (he was jailed btw), and Bradley John Murdoch (who was also jailed), who killed the couple. It's based more so off of Milat though, cuz some of the ways that the characters were killed in the movie, were ways that he used, like shooting in the head and the spine severing thing. The movie was basically based off the idea of crazy killers preying off of tourists, but not really off a lot of specific actions, and the people the killer was based off of was really loose at that.

Watched Atonement last night... I HIGHLY recommend it. It almost made me cry, which is big for me, cuz I NEVER cry at movies, lol. But read the book first! Well, I think you could enjoy the movie either way, but the book's always better.
