*thumbs-up to Kate's critique of English Patient*
Last movie I saw was Jennifer's Body. It was terrible. But also fantastic. I predict....cult classic, right here.
Unlike a lot of cheesy modern horror movies, this one was actually smart. I further by hypothesis that Diablo Cody cannot go wrong. 'Course, I am biased since Juno is one of my favorite movies of all time EVER, but still.
I thought Amanda Seyfried was really good. Nice to see her in a different sort of role. _________________

I should add, Eryn, that I don't often go into cheesy fangirl theatrics, but...
... I mean, really. Those few scenes were out of this world. (Now that I am old enough to properly appreciate them.) _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Kate fangirling? Not something I thought I'd ever see! Bahaha. Glad you enjoyed the movie, then. _________________

You should watch The English Patient to get rid of the memories of Raising Helen, Kat.
(You knew that was coming!)
I watched State of Grace last night when I got home: Irish-American mobsters in Hell's Kitchen, NYC (Sean Penn, Gary Oldman, Ed Harris.) I've seen it before. Fun film--Gary Oldman's the best part of that film because he's on full-tilt wired. 7/10. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Yup. And he's absolutely stir-crazy throughout most of it, which is highly entertaining. Ed Harris is a creepy sonofabeyotch in it, too. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

The last movie I watched was a documentary about Hitler doing the traveling degenerate exhibition. It was for class, and VERY interesting.
The last movie I watched was Funny People and I didn't hate it, I thought it was too long. It was nice to see Adam doing a role where you are supposed to hate him.
I also watched Everybody Hates Chris. |

Just watched Proof (1991), with Hugo Weaving and Russell Crowe almost 20 years ago. Liked it a lot, and I don't normally like Russell Crowe in things (but this was before every role of his was all I Am Russell Crowe; Look At How Awesome I Am.) Definitely a well-thought-out film, which is always good. Recommended, if you can find it (probably on Netflix): 8/10. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. i watched veronika decides to die. which started off good, love smg, but it turned into complete shit with the whole love conquers all cheesy plot.
and after that i watched gigantic which was just a bunch of random scenes thrown into an hr and a half basically. nothing was resolved at the end of the film, it just ended. weirdest pt of the movie was this homeless guy following the main character around, trying to kill him at random times, then they got in a knife fight one scene, and suddenly he vanished like he wasnt real. and that was never even explained. |

Just went & saw the documentary Babies today. It was very cute!! Very interesting too - it was interesting to see the differences in cultures & how babies are raised. But at the heart of it, it's pretty much what the title implies - babies! An hour and a half of nothing but pure baby antics. The amazing thing is how the film manages to make that interesting....
And also, this movie is really hilarious! My friend & I were laughing our butts off - babies are really funny!! It was definitely a good movie, one I'd recommend. Maybe avoid it if you can't stand children, but if you think they're cute, definitely go see it!! _________________

| I rented Edge of Darkness and really liked it. Mel Gibson needs to keep acting. I like majority of the stuff that he does. |

I just watched 'To Die For' (Nicole Kidman, Joaquin Phoenix, etc.) I've seen it a few times before, but it's always a fun watch: I like the pitch-black comedy in it.
After the credits aired, the station it was on showed a commercial for (you guessed it!) 'Rollerball: Coming this month to FLIX!' -- and they didn't even have the decency to mention Naveen (they mentioned Chris Klein, LL Cool J, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos and Jean Reno, though.) I swear I can't escape that stupid movie being aired. It's not even like it's any good.
I am now watching a stupid Lifetime suspense movie starring Rose McGowan: Because I like Rose McGowan and the film promises to at least be entertainingly and cheesily terrible! It's my first day of vacation, and I'm not looking for high art. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Rollerball now that's high art.
