Lost Video Island

[Aislynn]

When I saw a "by Hobbes" in the Video section, my exact thought was "This had better not be another frickin' test vid!" And then when I realized a split-second later what it was, I literally *squeed!* out loud! I'm just so totally thrilled that you finally finished this at long last! *applause*

Okay, the pan-around shot was FANTABULOUS! *makes flaily hands* Seriously, my jaw dropped. But even though you know I was going ZOMGamazinganimation! every time something popped up, I still had time to enjoy not only the editing (beat use, yay!) but the story and just the general "whoa creeeeeeepy!" atmosphere. That was actually some of the best uses for fade to blacks that I've seen in quite a while, really fitting the mood!

*makes more flaily hands at the pan-around shot* If you're getting the feeling that I was impressed, yes, I was! And not just by the pan-around, but by the entire vid. It was definitely well-worth the wait! *standing ovation* Totally amazingtastical! Spectacular work!

OMG that was so creepy!!! Thanks for your explanation about Donnie Darko. Now I can better understand this vid. And now it's even creepier. Great editing!

Ais - You know, as I made this I kept thinking "Ais is not gonna like this one. It's just TOO creepy". But I'm so glad you did! And thanks so much for the comment on the editing being good - always a treat .

Heather - awww, thanks!

Luthien - haha, you're welcome! Glad my ranting made things better, not worse
