|
Okay, I am really going to try my best to explain this. If you don't get it, that's cool, i'll try to elaborate...
Okay, so I was wondering if it was possible to get the sort of effect in a video where there are like cartoons or doodle type drawings moving on the side of the screen, for instance-

Flowers, like on Sassy's banner above, but like moving? Almost like they have an old film effect on them...
OR is there anyway I can put something like that on a clip, even if it isn't moving??? Like basically a paint brush... it would be like painting it on a still image, but instead, just the whole clip. Because then i could add the old film effect to it or something...
I know what i'm asking is really odd and confusing, and I tried to find an example in a video, but the only time I remembered see int it was in a cell phone commercial and I can't find it... Sorry! If anyone can help... God bless you _________________ <3 Jourdan

The way I would try something like that would probably be to prep my image -- let's just say flowers since that was your example -- in Paintshop/your equivalent graphics program onto a blue background (or red or green, whatever color is NOT in your flowers ). Then just overlay it onto your clip, use the chroma keyer to remove the background, then apply the old film effect to it. I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're going for but it was the first thing I thought of!
Also, if you're really looking for more motion than that, then you can do some basic animation with it. Prep several pictures of your flowers in different positions then either make them as a .GIF or put them on the timeline and trim them as short as you need to get them moving as fast or slow as you'd like. If that makes sense! Hope that helps! ♥! |

Yes, you would have to do the animation yourself using a program like Adobe Imageready or something similar. Then you would have composite/overlay the clips running the animation over the video clip. It's a lengthy process but it can be done. |
