Lost Video Island

[littleton_pace]

Ive been searching and searching for a song for this video idea ive had for these two and i cant find one i tried rinse by vanessa carlton and let go by frou frou but they dont seem to fit basically, the story is after thomas leaves Claire pregnant, she meets Sayid and they both grow feelings for each other, but Claire is very wary since the last man she loved abandoned her so she steers clear of sayid as best she can; even tho he keeps popping up. so to get away from him she gets on a plane but he follows her, they crash on the island, the angst continues

anyone got any ideas? i dont really want a hard rock song or anything; something more along the lines of let go by frou frou or something slow, sad and angsty

I think I've got the song for you Kat!
Its called "Since you've been around" By Rosie Thomas....I love it!

IÂ’m wandering
IÂ’m crawling
IÂ’m two steps away from falling
Just canÂ’t seem to get around

IÂ’m heavy
IÂ’m weary
Not thinking clearly
I just canÂ’t seem to find solid ground
Since youÂ’ve been around

IÂ’m running
IÂ’m hiding
But youÂ’ll never find me
Cuz IÂ’ve always felt lost in a crowd

IÂ’m sinking
IÂ’m drowning
IÂ’m so afraid of losing
My headÂ’s been spinning round and round
Since youÂ’ve been around

IÂ’m foolish and crazy
I just think that maybe I gotta things to figure out
IÂ’m winning
IÂ’m losing
IÂ’m afraid of never choosing this heart of mine, so beaten down
Before you came around

My suggestion: "To be with you" by Mr. Big
I don't know if the song has too much of a happy and positive touch for your vid though, Kat.

Anyway, here are the lyrics:

Hold on little girl
Show me what he's done to you
Stand up little girl
A broken heart can't be that bad
When it's through, it's through
Fate will twist the both of you (--> here you could show the plane crash ("fate will twist...") and then continue with the on-island storyline)
So come on baby come on over
Let me be the one to show you

Im the one who wants to be with you
Deep inside I hope you feel it too
Waited on a line of greens and blues
Just to be the next to be with you

Build up your confidence
So you can be on top for once
Wake up who cares about
Little boys that talk too much
I seen it all go down
Your game of love was all rained out
So come on baby, come on over
Let me be the one to hold you

Chorus

Why be alone when we can be together baby
You can make my life worthwhile
And I can make you start to smile

I would maybe suggest "Dance Inside" by The All American Rejects, has a bit of a beat.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=wRMssEDdelA

You don't have to move, you don't have to speak
Lips for biting.
You're staring me down, a glance makes me weak
Eyes for striking.
Now I'm twisted up when I'm twisted with you
Brush so lightly
And time trickles down, and I'm breathing for two
Squeeze so tightly.
I'll be fine, you'll be fine.
This moment seems so long
Don't waste now, precious time
We'll dance inside the song

CHORUS
What makes the one to shake you down?
Each touch belongs to each new sound
Say now you want to shake me too
Move down to me, slip into you

She sinks in my mind as she sheds through her skin
Touch sight taste like fire
Hands do now what eyes no longer defend
Hands to fuel desire
I'll be fine, you'll be fine
This moment seems so long
Don't waste now, precious time
We'll dance inside the song

CHORUS
What makes the one to shake you down?
Each touch belongs to each new sound
Say now you want to shake me too
Move down to me, slip into you

Ooo, ah
Ooo, ah
Ooo, ah
Ooo, ah (x 2)

And I'll be fine, you'll be fine
Is this fine? I'm not fine
Give me pieces, give me things to stay awake

CHORUS
What makes the one to shake you down?
Each touch belongs to each new sound
Say now you want to shake me too
Move down to me, slip into you

CHORUS
What makes the one to shake you down?
Each touch belongs to each new sound
Say now you want to shake me too
Move down to me, slip into you

Move down to me slip into you...
