There has to be something better than the standard Windows Movie Maker. Something with more extras and so on.

So what are you using what can you recommend me, perhaps a program that is muti lingual.

Well I'm using Sony Vegas 5 and it's friggin awesome! It's pretty user friendly with lots and lots of cool effects (Go watch my videos LOL). Totally customizable. IMHO it's way better than Adobe Premiere in every way. Highly recommend it.

I use Cyberlink Power Director. For ease of use and stability it can't be beaten. It is really easy to pick out scenes from the vids and it is soo fast loading stuff makes a mockery of WMM.

Me too. Downloaded a trail version of Vegas 6 and it is cool.

Not gonna buy it though. It's about $450

I just started using Ulead VideoStudio 9.0, you can get a free trial at download.com

I really like it. It's easy to use, but more flexible, and much more stable than WMM.

I tried Adobe Premiere and it was confusing, I couldn't figure out how to make anything.
