|
Ok I thought there should be a thread for this. It seems like it’s pretty easy to find an angsty Sawyer, Druggy Charlie, Or runaway Kate song. But it seems there are some characters that are just plain hard to find songs for. This thread is for song recommendations and advice for those characters, and let me list them for you in case you have forgotten them.
Sayid
Hurley
Michael
Walt
Sun
Jin
Shannon
Boone
Libby
Vincent
Nikki
Paulo
If you have a song that’s good for one of those characters just post it here. If I’m forgetting someone just remind me and ill add them to the list. Ill update the this post frequently as songs come in!
Michael
"My father's eyes" by Eric Clapton
Walt
"My father's eyes" by Eric Clapton
Shannon
"So beautiful" by Pete Murray
Hurt - Christina Aguilera
One Of Those Girls- avril lavigne
Boone
"So beautiful" by Pete Murray
Hurt - Christina Aguilera
"More Than Useless" By Relient K
Sun
"Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional
Haunted by Evanescence
Jin
"Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional
Nikki/Paulo
"Diamond's Are a Girls Best Friend"
"But it's better if you do" by Panic! At the Disco
"24" by Jem
Vincent
Who Let The Dogs Out - Baja Men

Very cool idea, Trey! I turned it into a sticky since it may be quite handy to see the thread right away at the top of the page.
A few suggestions:
Michael/Walt: "My father's eyes" by Eric Clapton (can't believe no one did this yet)
Shannon/Boone: "So beautiful" by Pete Murray
Jin/Sun: "Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional

So, I've already put in a request for this but I think the song "Diamond's Are a Girls Best Friend" is perfect for Paulo/Nikki.
I know they're dead. I know we hated them. But something about me hating a character and then them being killed off makes me LOVE THEM!!!
Same goes for Ana Lucia and Shannon and any Others that died (Tom!) |

| I always thought Haunted by Evanescence was a good Sun one back when she and Jin always argued. |

So I am looking for a good Karl song lol.
Random I know, but I recently met the actor (he's performing in the broadway show Spring Awakening) and now I am completely obsessed!
I'd love to do a Karl vid or a Karl/Alex video, but I have no idea what song to use. Any suggestions? |

aw, you met 'Karl'? he seems like he'd be really nice, is he?
Hmm, Karl songs....ill quickly glance my collection and see if anything pops out...something about him always doing stuff for other ppl, maybe? I'll grab the lyrics to a few for you
Losing it All - a good karl/alex angsty song about when they had to leave each other.
Only Hope - the Switchfoot version; not the Mandy Moore one a good one about how alex is everything to karl.
Unwell - by matchbox 20 - would be an awesome character study vid for karl |
