Lost Video Island

[PrincessSparkle]

So I thought it would be quite gd to have a thread where you recommend other peoples videos (cause they may not even be on LVI) of Lost or not to watch purely cause they are brill

Por ejemplo

Step Up - Nora/Tyler by Floruu

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3lNbkifnEqk

cause i just think it's suuuuuch a gd vid and has some brilliant effects in it.

The best House MD vid I ever seen, on "Extremis" by Gillian Anderson song. Video done by hallospacegirl, who have amazing personality as well
________

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMOmVchEHJM

Spider-Man vid, on "Ordinary" by Train...was made by two friends/young professional editors Ryan and Jake..one word - AMAZING..audio editing, beat use, everything in this vid is perfect...Ryan (spuffylover36) also makening big ammount of great Buffy vids (even so I don't like this serial, but whatever )...

_______

Equillibrium music vid, on "Here" VAST song, was made by Kristin Harris...this girl is already editing some stuff for movies, so it's kinda understandable that all her works - are..just WOW , but this one is my favorite (ok, I even doing Matrix vid with this song right now, my rezult totally would not be that good )

That is an amazing vid. It's for the movie 300. And HOLY CRAP it rocks! I called it "groundbreaking" in my comment and it truly is.

[Jemmz]

I'd just like to rec this vid I made with my sister. It's about Charlie and Claire using the most perfect song for them ever. It's actually quite beautiful. Perhaps even better then 'Breathe'.

Wherever You Will Go

I haven't uploaded it in my name because on the whole it is hers. I just helped and pitched in some ideas like the rewinding effect and clips to use

[Lostwithoutdom]

I really liked your sister's vid Jemmz. Its kind of funny that I've never seen it before, and I made a PJ&J vid to the same song. lol Tell her great Job!!

http://sublim.imeem.com/video/LQU2ToIY/lim_us/

This is a multi-fandom vid (with animation) to the song Us by Regina Spektor. Personally, that's one of my favorite songs ATM so when I heard the song I was excited but I know that Regina is a bit of an acquired taste, though I suggest you give it a shot anyway. The video is really kind of ABOUT fandom in and of itself. And how we kind of worship "them" (the "us" in the song.) It's an amazing commentary on basically us as fans and kind of abstractly of the people we hold up so high.

As far as I can remember and what I could recognize, the following fandoms were represented in the vid (I'm sure I'm missing a lot!):

Star Trek
X-Files
Batman
Lost
Lord of the Rings
POTC
Serenity
V for Vendetta
Star Trek: TNG
Stargate: Atlantis
Firefly
The Matrix
Quantum Leap
Dr. Who
Buffy
Angel

[Fan4Lost]

This vid is the perfect example of using track motion and beat use. The first time I saw it I felt like the biggest loser on earth. It totally blew anything I have ever done or ever will do out of the water. Must have taken this person ages to do.

It's an AMV but just check out their vidding skillz. Utterly amazing. O_o

[SuperKC]

Wow steph, that was really cool! (And fun too!)

Here's an updated list of the fandoms included in that "Us" video I recced.

Quote:

Angel the Series Babylon 5 Batman Begins Batman Battlestar Galactica 2003 Blake's 7 Boston Legal Buffy the Vampire Slayer Converge Culture Consortium's Future of Entertainment Conference. Introductory Talk. 11-17-06 Dr. WHO due South Farscape Firefly Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban LOST The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King The Professionals Pirates of the Carribean: the Curse of the Black Pearl Planet Earth Quantum Leap Serenity Smallville Stargate Stargate: Atlantis Stargate: SG-1 Star Trek: The Original Series Star Trek: Voyager Star Trek: Enterprise Star Trek: The Next Generation Star Trek: Generations The Sentinel V for Vendetta The X Files X-Men: The Last Stand

And if you can't get iMeem to work you can download at their site here: http://www.kekkai.org/lim/

I just love vid.....it never gets old

[HobbitRockGod]

This vid has made my life. It's hilarious...anyone who watches Heroes has to watch it.

I was thinking about making a Heroes vid with this song...but this one is just so perfect, I dunno if I'll still do it.
