I HATEEEE me movie-maker, Magix. I tried sending it over to my external hard drive for more space on my laptop (stupid idea, I know), and now it won't play, even after I tried converting it back to disk C. It says I have to re-install it, but I don't have my Magix CD kit-thingy with me.

Boo.

Anyway, I was hoping to squeeze some info from you guys...I want to upgrade to Vegas Studio, but I'm wary of the cost. Which version should I get and will it be worth it? Will it eat up my hard drive?

Carrie is sad.

I used both Sony Vegas and Movie Studio and frankly, there isn't much of a difference. Go for Studio!!

Actually, I got Movie Studio 6.0... for $10! I got it with a really great rebate offer that made it $10. But it's TOTALLY worth $20!

I've never used the full version of Vegas but I've only found a couple of things that the baby version can't do. All of my Vegas vids from "Bawitdaba" to "Makes Me Wonder" were done with Movie Studio, if that gives you any idea of what you can do with it!

Movie Studio 7.0 is the version that's available now but I've seen 6.0 on sale a few places lately; I guess clearing them out for 7.0! Anyway, I can highly recommend Movie Studio, especially if you can find it with a good rebate!

Thanks, Aislynn! I'll poke around, see what I can find.

The really sad thing is, just as my video maker goes kaput, I have about a million great ideas for videos!
