Sitting across the street from my apartment on the law school patio, trying to upload with an oncoming thunderstorm.

Don't get Comcast, people. Two hours on tech support with them, being shuffled to six different departments. It's almost insulting that my cable TV works fine, and that my internet is so screwed in comparison.

Gotta throw in my 2 cents about Comcast, it sucks!!!!!!! My cable tv and internet both go out daily. Good luck with yours, thefilmchick.

oh wow...I've never had a problem with my Comcast... Insight, though, and SBC...I had NUMEROUS problems with them when I was stuck with their services... I hope it gets fixed soon, hon!

It won't get fixed until Thursday evening. Hooray for nonexistent customer service (and it was the first time I used the "I am a law student" excuse, too!)

At least the video is up on YouTube and ZShare now. Submitted in a thunderstorm/rainstorm (check weather.com for zipcode 46383, if you dare.) I had to hang out in the overhang by the patio, and my pants are soaking. Oh well, it was exciting!

46383, seriously?! You're like literally two hours away from me. Our weather is supposed to be the same but I haven't heard any thunder or rain, yet... Weird. I hope it starts getting really nasty outside right when I go to bed, cuz that's the best way to fall asleep, as far as I'm concerned

Hello all stalkers and/or FBI agents looking for me.

Valparaiso University School of Law.
My clinic (juvenile and adult justice, in the spring).
Moot Court, my extracurricular activity, whose website hasn't been updated in two years.

Yeah. Comcast says they'll have someone out between 4 and 7 tomorrow. At the moment, I'm typing this from work. Thanks a lot, Comcast. Good to know I pay you guys about $120 monthly (for cable TV w/ BBC America and wireless internet) for all your great customer service! (Especially the turning the internet and cable on two weeks before I was home, while I was still in Chile. That was awesome.)

But, like you said, the video is up. Comments welcomed when it hits circulation, or at YouTube - she said subtly.

Arrrrgh, that's just so frustrating when something won't work right and nobody seems to know how to fix it! Especially when it's something as vital as your Internet! Yes, vital I said! Vital, vital, vital! (Somebody get me a RL on order, woncha, please? Apparently I really need one! )

I know. What makes it worse: All of my friends are still on summer vacation, so I have nothing to do but work and look after the cat and make videos and lurk on the internet - but wait! I can't do those last two.

Not life and limb - just a laptop. (The lightning wasn't going to hit the law school, as it was pretty far away.) The computer didn't get rained on, though! (But I did.)
