"I thought I was special!" LOL. I loved the "B-movieness" of it with the titles. Bocke forever! Although, Ben with anyone tends to amuse me. |

I enjoyed making the movie a bit 'b movie tacky'. I LMAO while editing it too.
The 'bocke' concept is not mine tho, that honour goes to a vidder called benlinusisagoodguy who has a load of stuff on youtube
I mainly do animation vids but the idea of Ben and John made me laugh so much I decided to make this vid. Thanks for the good comments! |

Arresting use of the infamous Lockdown scene.
And all the action shots and tacky titles were fun too. The only thing that was really weird was the choice of music for Locke and Ben "looking for love". As if it was the scariest thing ever. |

Don't you find this prospect scary? Love is not always sweet, in the case of bocke the feelings are of violence and domination which passes for love on the island
Also by using dramatic music for a love story the parody becomes funnier. If I had used romantic music it would have been mildly amusing and maybe a little lame. The use of opposites in juxtaposition makes the whole thing a little surreal too which gives the video it's drive |
