Kate's POV of Sawyer, as canonical as I could make it. Fast-paced and with pretty spot-on lyrics.
Song: 236-6132 by Dave Carter and Tracy Grammer
Vidder: thefilmchick
Length: 3:08 (13.5MB WMV)

(Edited for proper apostrophe. Sorry, ex-English major. I'd forgotten that apostrophes don't seem to carry through forms.)

Nice lyric use!

[thefilmchick]

Thanks, Uruviel! I don't ship anything, but the lyrics were so patently obvious that I'd been wanting to see a video using them for awhile.

Along came the baseball stuff to fit the 'Casey at the bat' lines this season, and Sawyer and Kate's flight across the island, and bing! Lyrical match-ups.

Never heard this song before but ... it's super cool I liked the use of lyrics - well done!

Oooh! I liked that a LOT!
The use of lyrics was brilliant, and so was the song. A really sweet and great vid! I liked it very much
Keep it coming!

I do the same thing with mine, too! That lack of apostrophe just kinda stares at me after a while.

Anyway, back to the point! I loved the lyric interpretations, particularly the "Casey's at the bat" moments! And...hopefully you can forgive me for seeing it as shippy because, well, I live to ship, what can I say?

Enjoyed it a lot! Good to see you back again!

[thefilmchick]

Home safe in NY - thanks, all! It's been a while since I bothered with doing a vid, but finals boredom got to me again. Finals suck. Hopefully the video is better than finals.

NOT SHIPPY. Well, OK, it kind of is. But at least the song works. I still have no dog in the race, though.

cool vid! liked the lyric use. Good job all round!!!

[PsychoCynic]

Great job matching the lyrics to scenes!

And, yes, it was very shippy. But very cute! Very nice job!

Thanks! If I have one actual SKILL at vidding in general, I think it's song choice, as far as finding fitting lyrics and whatnot.

No thanks! The lyrics kept on sticking out as far as appropriateness, though, so I figured it couldn't hurt. Don't worry! The one I'm working on right now is pretty much antithetical, so that helps.

Thanks again! A decent amount of Desmond material to work with this season - if I can find a song that beats Lord Byron's Luggage, I might do another vid with him in it. I think I'll have trouble finding a more fitting song, though.

Kate doing a Skate vid, a ship vid? AU right there I'll always remind you of this now, you realize Love that hot skate kiss at the end

[thefilmchick]

Sorry for belatedness! Been busy starting classes, blech.

Thanks for comments, but if you remind me, I will cry! Hey, the song was perfect; what can I say?

(I still dislike Kate.)

That was WAY cute, Kate!!! A sweet little Skate vid for sure! Yay!!!

[thefilmchick]

Did it wash out the taste of you-know-what, Julia?

(And why do I get the feeling I will live to regret this one being bumped from years past? )
